Boerne ISD hosts back-to-school job fair

Boerne Independent School District hosts a Job Fair 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at the district central office, 235 Johns Road.

The Job Fair is being held in conjunction with the Back to School Resource Rally. Positions will be available for custodians, food service, school bus drivers, maintenance, and more.

“We are always looking to find dedicated, hard-working, committed employees,” Bryan Benway, Boerne ISD director of communications, said. “The job fair gives the community an opportunity to talk to our department leaders, ask questions about the various positions and jobs available, and potentially walk away with a new career opportunity in Boerne ISD.” BISD operations directors will be in attendance for potential applicants to ask questions and learn more about the departments. There will also be an opportunity to submit applications, as well as potential on-site interviews.

Boerne ISD was named the 2020 Best Small School District in Texas by HEB Excellence in Education and a 2020 Top Workplace by the San Antonio Express-News.

Boerne ISD has 12 campuses with more than 1,300 full-time employees, and nearly 11,000 students.
