Geneva, Comfort boys bumped in first round

The Comfort High and Geneva School of Boerne boys basketball team opened the playoffs last week and were both knocked out in the first round.

Comfort played Stockdale at Navarro and lost 61-40 to end its season at 19-15 overall.

The Brahmas had three in double figures and were led by Jeremy Irwin, who finished with 22 points.

Geneva traveled to Laredo and played St. Augustine and lost to the Knights, 82-48.

The Eagles end the year at 11-15 overall.
