BISD athletes in All-Star Softball Game

Boerne ISD had four athletes who were invited to play in the 23rd Annual Austin Area All-Star Softball Game held recently at Dripping Springs and open to softball players in the Central Texas region that just graduated.

Champion’s Ava Trevino, along with Boerne High’s Taryn Madlock, Ava Nieto and Ava Rodriguez were invited.

“Bevo” Rodriguez received the Gold Glove Award for the South Team after she didn’t give up any hits or runs during her time in the pitching circle, while Madlock went 2 for 2 with a double, a triple and 4 RBI.

Trevino also pitched in the game and Nieto wasn’t able to play in the contest.
