LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT
MAY 30
12:54 p.m., 1000 Blk Grand – A resident reported that a staff member sexually assaulted her. EMS was not required.
3:13 p.m., 100 Blk Old San Antonio Rd – A caller reported a motorhome with the door open. The caller informed dispatch that “stuff” was everywhere.
3:20 p.m., 543 MM E I-10 – A two vehicle accident occurred. No injuries resulted. The vehicles were not blocking traffic and pulled over to the side of the road. One of the vehicles left the scene and the vehicle’s insurance was found to not match.
5:31 p.m., 1400 Blk S Main – An employee reported that some of the business’s property had been damaged the prior Saturday when a vehicle backed into it. The caller had only just now noticed the damage and had video surveillance of the accident.
7:25 p.m., Herff/Oak Park – A caller reported seeing a driver pull a ski mask over his face while he was driving. The caller gave the vehicle’s information to the dispatch officer and advised where the vehicle was headed.
7:51 p.m., 34000 Blk W I-10 – A caller reported that someone had gone into their vehicle and taken two cowboy hats earlier that afternoon. The caller did note to dispatch that he thought he may have left the vehicle unlocked.
MAY 31
7:16 a.m., 32000 Blk E I-10 – Emergency services received an alert from Apple iPhone, stating that a severe car crash had occurred. Dispatch tried contacting the phone number, but no one answered. Emergency services went to the location and there was no accident.
1:14 p.m., 800 Blk Johns Rd – A caller was at the swimming pool and reported a male inside his apartment who was taking videos and photos of her and others at the pool. The caller told dispatch that the same thing had happened the day before too.
1:52 p.m., 33000 Blk W I-10 – A caller reported that a bicycle had been stolen from their property during the night.
4:57 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera Rd – A caller reported that he had backed into a vehicle in the parking lot. No injuries resulted and both parties were on the scene and exchanged information.
4:58 p.m., 100 Blk City Lake – An employee reported that a vehicle had gone through the entrance booth without paying.
7:25 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera Rd – A caller reported that a vehicle hit her car and then left the parking lot. The caller’s vehicle sustained a flat tire from the incident. The vehicle then ran the stop sign and both stoplights. The caller provided vehicle description details to dispatch. The caller noted to dispatch that the vehicle cut off other vehicles during the process.
7:29 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera Rd – An employee reported that an individual stole “a lot” of groceries from the grocery store.
JUNE 01
3:43 p.m., 100 Blk Menger Springs – A caller reported that he was a special agent with the FBI and needed assistance from local law enforcement to gain access to a local subdivision.
3:57 p.m., 600 Blk W Bandera Rd – A caller reported a median was on fire. Boerne FD was contacted to handle the situation. The caller said they saw white smoke; however, Boerne FD was unable to locate anything.
5:35 p.m., 100 City Lake – A caller reported that a vehicle drove through the barrier line. It was discovered the vehicle broke, resulting in it going through the barrier. A wrecker was called for the vehicle.
7:36 p.m., Upper Cibolo Creek – A keyholder called in to report that all storage units at the back of the building were open. Law enforcement made contact with the keyholder and came to the scene.
10:00 p.m., 100 Blk Kassel – A caller reported hearing pounding all around her house, but especially near the garage. The caller requested that law enforcement come to her house to investigate the matter. Law enforcement could not find any signs of attempted forced entry.
11:33 p.m., 100 Blk Calk – A caller reported that his ex-wife and three other people were selling drugs out of their house and were possible gang members. The caller specifically said they were selling meth.
JUNE 02
2:59 a.m., 800 Blk Johns Rd – A caller reported a three-foot-tall fire behind the location. Dispatch noted that it was a possible nightstand that was on fire. Boerne FD was advised it was a possible controlled burn. They advised the individual burning to not burn at this time of day.
9:06 a.m., 400 Blk W Bandera Rd – A canoe was stolen from the back of a pickup truck while it was in the parking lot.
4:25 p.m., 300 Blk Aberdeen – A caller reported that his phone was hacked and the person on the other end of the phone was threatening to leak photos if the caller didn’t give him money. The caller told dispatch that the individual had already leaked some photos already.
7:18 p.m., 1000 Blk Diamond – A caller reported her ex-boyfriend was trying to break into her car. The caller noted that her ex-boyfriend was walking off towards the exit. While on the phone, the ex-boyfriend walked away. However, she thought he may have taken the fuses out of her vehicle.
8:49 p.m., 100 Blk Bluebonnet Circle – A resident reported smelling a strong marijuana odor coming from one of the apartments. Law enforcement came to the location and did not smell marijuana but did note the smell of cigarettes.
11:08 p.m., 37000 Blk E I-10 – A raccoon was pulled out of a grill!
JUNE 03
12:44 a.m., 100 Blk Rattlesnake Bluff – A caller reported three people in the neighbor’s driveway. The caller went out to speak with the people and they all ran off. Two of the individuals went up Rattlesnake Bluff, the other ran into a residential neighborhood. When law enforcement showed up, one male ran and got into a vehicle before it drove awake. Two individuals ran after the car and yelled after it.
2:08 a.m., 100 Blk Herff - A caller reported a vehicle that was going through the parking lot and then finally parked in the back parking lot.
7:30 a.m., Cascade Caverns – A caller reported a male on a bike threatened the caller, asking the caller if he wanted a “piece of him”. Ultimately, neither party wanted to make a report.
11:18 a.m., 540 MM E I-10 – An additional unit was required after a routine traffic stop. One of the occupants was detained, a probable search cause was conducted, and one person was taken into custody.
11:35 a.m., 35000 Blk W I-10 – An assistant manager reported that a guest’s vehicle was broken into during the night.
8:33 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera Rd – A driver had filled up with gas earlier that day and had not returned to pay like she said she would.
JUNE 04
9:25 a.m., 200 Blk Rosebud – A injured hawk was reported in front of the location. It was suspected that the hawk had a broken wing. Animal Control was contacted.
9:48 a.m., Main/Oak Park – A caller reported a skinned cat on Main Street. The caller would not provide any further than her first name.
11:22 a.m., Cascade Caverns – A caller reported his wallet had been stolen and had tracked it to this location. The caller said his wallet had been stolen while he was in San Antonio.
11:32 a.m., 400 Blk W Bandera Rd – There were people soliciting in the center median, asking for money. Law enforcement made contact with the individuals and advised them to stay off the road.
2:03 p.m., 200 Blk First – A caller reported that she was in her garage when a man approached her to look at her sprinklers. The caller told dispatch that the man couldn’t speak a lot of English, but he did make rude comments about her.

MAY 30
7:44 a.m., 10000 Blk Johns Rd Three longhorns were reported to be out and getting in their steps for the morning. Their adventure was cut short when a law enforcement officer returned them home.
8:05 a.m., 100 Blk Candy Lane – A resident called in wanting to report a case of identity theft.
1:34 p.m., 400 Blk Broadway – A woman called in to report a dog had gotten off leash and was attempting to get her dog. The caller admitted to having kicked the other dog before the owner and his dog left the park. The other party called in and reported that the woman had come after him with a baseball bat, and noted his dog was on a leash.
2:53 p.m., Vallerie Lane – A caller reported they had sent $30 to someone alleging to be with the FBI. The caller told dispatch he had received a call from someone claiming to be an FBI agent, who said there was a warrant for the caller. The caller proceeded to pay $30 before realizing it was a scam.
11:05 p.m., 400 Blk N Hwy 87 – A suspicious caller reported an individual walking northbound along the road with their arms in the air. The caller reported seeing a vehicle before the creek but was unsure if the vehicle belongs to the individual. Law enforcement made contact with the individual and it was found that his vehicle had been stolen in San Antonio. The individual was given a courtesy ride.
MAY 31
12:05 a.m., 1300 Blk FM 473 – A caller reported receiving threatening text messages from a woman in Arizona. Law enforcement advised the man on how to handle the situation.
12:07 a.m., Oak Park/Herff – A vehicle was reported to have run into the fence. Emergency services were contacted. It was later reported that the vehicle left the scene. Damage had been done to the guardrail, resulting in damage blocking the sidewalk. The caller told dispatch that the vehicle has sustained “major front end damage”.
2:11 a.m., 100 Blk Honeycomb Dr – A caller who was disgruntled and losing sleep, reported a dog who was constantly barking. The caller even drove around the neighborhood in an attempt to locate the dog. Around 40 minutes later, law enforcement reported the dog had stopped barking. An hour after this, the caller reported the dog had begun barking again.
3:11 p.m., 400 Blk Alamo Rd – A caller reported suspicious circumstances on Facebook. The caller reported receiving a message that she’d won $50,000 and a picture of two $800 Apple gift cards. Now the negative part – the scammer also sent a picture of the caller’s ID. The caller wanted to document the incident in the event of potential identity theft.
JUNE 01
12:49 a.m., 100 Blk Live Oak Circle – A caller reported her ex-boyfriend had stolen her watch and her phone. The caller noted to dispatch that the ex-boyfriend had asked the caller to leave the location, but his mother said he could stay. The ex-boyfriend got on the phone and told dispatch he had not stolen anything. Law enforcement arrived at the scene and handled the situation.
1:54 a.m., 300 Blk Hannah Ln – A caller reported flooding in her house and was seeking assistance. She noted that she had called plumbing services, but they had not answered. Law enforcement came to the scene and assisted the caller in shutting off the water main. A pipe had burst in the attic, resulting in flooding throughout the whole house.
10:54 a.m., Connally Way – A caller reported serious issues with a customer. The customer had repeatedly been calling in and threatening employees with the caller’s company. The caller was seeking advice for if the customer showed up in person.
3:08 p.m., 200 Blk Doeskin Dr – An unhappy caller called in to report the neighbors of the location were burning, resulting in smoke and ash covering the caller’s property. The caller was additionally concerned because they were under the impression, they were in city limits and shouldn’t be burning. However, dispatch informed the caller their residence was in county limits.
7:48 p.m., 100 Blk N Wagon Wheel Dr – A caller reported that a worker had taken his vehicle the prior Friday and had not returned it. Law enforcement came to the scene so that the caller could report the vehicle as stolen; however, the caller needed to provide additional information and made contact later.
JUNE 02
10:04 a.m., 400 Blk FM 474 – A caller was transferred from Comal County and reported a vehicle driving well below the speed limit, on the wrong side of the road. Law enforcement couldn’t make contact with the caller as the call kept disconnecting.
10:17 a.m., 43000 Blk W I-10 – A caller requested law enforcement assistance regarding his business’ email being hacked.
10:27 a.m., 533 MM W I-10 – A caller reported a male driver waving a gun and pointing it at the caller while driving down the interstate. The caller noted the passed a law enforcement officer on the other side of the road. The caller informed dispatch where the vehicle was going and continued driving.
10:55 a.m., 531 MM E I-10 – A male was detained and taken into custody, and a tow truck was called for his vehicle, after a routine traffic stop.
11:56 a.m., 700 Blk FM 1376 – A resident reported a male in a parked vehicle by the resident’s gate. The caller was concerned because the male had been there for an unknown period of time and had their hazard lights on.
4:51 p.m., 200 Blk W Bandera – A caller reported that their windshield had been broken by something flying off the back of a truck and hitting it. The caller noted the truck had refused to stop, and continued driving.
JUNE 03
6:55 a.m., 525 MM W I-10 – A male was taken into custody and detained after a probable search was conducted after a routine traffic stop.
8:37 a.m., 200 Blk Wall St – A caller reported their neighbor’s dog had attacked the caller’s dog.
4:28 p.m., 533 MM W I-10 – A driver reported a driver going down the interstate with a baby in her lap, instead of the legally-required car seat. Because of the rate the vehicle was moving, Kendall County law enforcement contacted Kerr County to handle the matter.
4:30 p.m., 100 Blk North Creek Loop – A caller reported that he was supposed to have had a package delivered earlier that day, but the package was missing. The caller thought the package had been stolen and wanted to report the matter to law enforcement.
8:52 p.m., 600 Blk Waring-Welfare Rd – A caller reported a longhorn on the road, looking for some evening entertainment.
11:10 p.m., 300 Blk Waring-Welfare Rd – A caller reported multiple people walking down the road. The caller told dispatch the people had backpacks and flashlights and didn’t see any vehicle nearby. The caller found this situation to be suspicious.
JUNE 04
7:42 a.m., 522 MM E I-10 - Kerrville Police contacted Kendall County Sheriff’s Office to report a vehicle that had been stolen and was heading toward San Antonio. There were unknown weapons in the vehicle and the driver was unknown.
9:43 a.m., 100 Blk Doeskin Dr – A caller reported that three vehicles on the location were burglarized. The caller noted to dispatch that the vehicles were all unlocked, but nothing appeared to be stolen. Additionally, the caller noted that no damage was done to any of the vehicles.
11:27 a.m., 100 Blk Dove Court – Another caller reported that two vehicles of his had been broken into during the night. The caller noted that he had left the two vehicles unlocked but nothing appeared to be stolen from the vehicles.
12:56 p.m., 541 MM E I-10 – Four Mustangs were reported to be racing down the interstate, going over 130 MPH. One of the drivers was detained and taken into custody.
1:24 p.m., 100 Blk Oak Dell – A caller reported a rattlesnake on her porch.
2:42 p.m., 4300 Blk Ranger Creek Rd – A caller reported a suspicious male walking down the middle of the road. He noted to dispatch that he had to drive around the male to get past him. Law enforcement made contact with the male to figure out the situation. The male told law enforcement he had gotten lost and was trying to figure out where he was going.
JUNE 05
2:32 a.m., 800 Blk Johns Rd – A disgruntled client was calling and making threats towards the staff. The caller reported that the client was threatening to “come up there and make someone pay”.
11:01 a.m., 100 Blk Blaschke Rd – A property owner reported that a vehicle had gone through his fence. There were no injuries from the accident and the damage was not over a thousand dollars.
11:46 a.m., 200 Blk W Hwy 46 – A caller reported two cows roaming around, trying to get through the Monday.
12:11 p.m., 600 Blk FM 1376 – An employee reported that someone had opened a cell phone account in their boss’s name.
3:18 p.m., 200 Blk Ammann Rd – A caller reported that she had purchased a new vehicle and gotten her hard copy license plates in the mail. The caller told dispatch that she had thrown away the paper temporary plates; however, the information on the temporary plates was being used on toll roads in Austin. The proper jurisdiction was notified.
8:50 p.m., Ranger Creek – A caller reported her granddaughter saw a male standing by their vehicles on their property the prior day. The caller told dispatch that some of the things were out of place in her vehicle. The caller requested additional law enforcement patrol.
