The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. 3:11 a.m., 700 Blk River – A concerned caller reported a large van that was driving around the area slowly. The caller told dispatch that when the driver had spotted the vehicle, the van drove off. However, it had been sitting in the parking lot for “a while” prior to seeing the caller.
8:15 a.m., 100 Blk Old San Antonio – A caller from out of the area reported that his ex-girlfriend, who was from Boerne, was harassing him. The caller told dispatch that the ex-girlfriend had filed a false theft report against him.
10:25 a.m., 200 Blk Parkview Terrace – Continuing the relationship saga, the ex-girlfriend called in to report her ex-boyfriend was harassing her.
12:17 p.m., Adler/Serenity – Two males and a female got out of their respective vehicles and began screaming at each other on the side of the road. One of the males had a large stick in his hand. Law enforcement arrived at the scene and intervened.
1:43 p.m., 1500 Blk S Main – A caller reported a male who was stumbling around and seemed confused. The caller initially suspected the male was on drugs but then suspected heat stroke. The caller walked to a medical center.
10:15 p.m., 100 Blk Wickersham – A caller reported a male going through trash cans along the road. The male had on a headlamp – he was committed. The caller was unsure what the caller was looking for, or if it was even okay. Law enforcement arrived at the scene and intervened.
MAY 04
11:09 a.m., 33000 Blk W I-10 – A resident wanted to report that someone had taken possession of his CPS account and had opened a new account with the caller’s information.
1:48 p.m., Main/Herff – A caller reported they were involved in an accident. Both of the vehicles pulled over to the side of the road and no injuries resulted.
2:13 p.m., 1400 Blk River – A caller reported the theft of items that belonged to the building’s residents.
2:18 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera – A caller reported shoplifting in progress. The caller confronted the shoplifter outside the store and the shoplifter relinquished the items he had taken. The caller brought the items back inside the store.
7:52 p.m., 541 MM W I-10 – A single- vehicle accident occurred. Two callers reported the accident, one of them stating the vehicle did not look drivable. Despite the airbags being deployed, the driver was attempting to get out of the vehicle. EMS was called to the scene for the occupants of the vehicle. The fire department was called to the scene for traffic control.
11:37 p.m., 1300 Blk S Main – An employee reported that while she was closing the store, she thought sha had heard a male talking. The employee was concerned someone was hiding in the store. Law enforcement searched the store and did not locate anyone.
MAY 05
5:27 a.m., 31000 Blk W I-10 – A security company contacted law enforcement after seeing a female pulling on car handles at the car wash. After further investigation it was found that that female was an employee, and no illegal activity was occurring.
5:40 a.m., 800 Blk Adler – A caller reported a male asleep at a picnic table at the park. The caller noted the male’s bike was parked in the parking lot.
10:54 a.m., 1000 Blk River – A realtor reported that a male had walked in during a property and provided a different type of showing – taking off his pants. The realtor asked the male to leave, he did, and the realtor proceeded to contact law enforcement.
11:37 a.m., 100 Blk Telford – A concerned caller reported a vehicle that was driving around the neighborhood and stopping.
12:23 p.m., 200 Blk E Highland – A mother reported someone had hacked into her child’s phone and was attempting to extort him for money.
9:05 p.m., 100 Blk Old San Antonio – A store manager reported that about eight teenagers had been kicked out of the move theater were hanging out in the parking lot and would not leave.
MAY 06
9:49 a.m., 536 MM E I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle in the center median of the interstate. A two-vehicle accident had occurred. The caller reported that it appeared no injuries resulted.
12:13 p.m., 100 Blk City Park – An individual with the Parks Department reported that sinks had been broken in the park’s bathrooms.
2:01 p.m., 100 Blk Crosspoint – A employee reported an individual on the premises who was not supposed to be there. The employee was requesting that law enforcement remove the individual. Law enforcement came to the location but could not locate the individual.
4:38 p.m., Main Plaza, A very disgruntled caller reported that a dog was off leash at the Man Plaza Park. The caller went as far as to say he could no longer go to the park because of the dog-situation.
7:44 p.m., Morningside/Dawn Ridge – A caller reported hearing gunshots fired in the area. The caller informed dispatch that there was a vacant lot across the road, and they suspected the gunshots may be coming from there. Law enforcement investigated the matter and did not suspect any gunshots had been fired.
10:51 p.m., 100 Blk Gallant Fox – A resident had read about other vehicles in his area getting broken into. The resident checked out his vehicle and found the lock on the driver’s side had been popped.
MAY 07
4:15 a.m., 100 Blk Shade Tree – Bexar County law enforcement requested assistance with locating suspects involved in a shooting. Boerne law enforcement was able to locate a vehicle registered in one of the suspect’s names.
1:10 p.m., 500 Blk Fabra – A resident wanted to speak with law enforcement regarding her neighbor harassing her.
5:38 p.m., 300 Blk S Main – An event DJ reported that as he was packing up, a customer came over and complained about the volume and type of the music the DJ played. The customer made the situation physical when he smacked the DJ’s hand and chest.
6:04 p.m., 540 MM W I-10 – A truck was reported to be passing vehicles on the shoulder of the road, at an excessive speed. A second caller reported the vehicle and estimated the vehicle was going over 100 MPH and had sideswiped another vehicle.
MAY 03
7:40 a.m., 100 Blk Spring Creek Rd – A disgruntled caller reported a neighbor putting trash in his dumpster. The caller was asking what legal recourse was available to him.
10:16 a.m., 200 Blk Third – A caller reported an instance of credit card fraud. The caller noticed a $540 charge on their statement that they had not made. The address for the purchase was to a location in San Antonio.
10:48 a.m., 500 Blk N Pleasant Valley Dr – A suspicious caller reported an older vehicle that was slowly driving from mailbox to mailbox. He informed dispatch that he suspected the driver was a young male.
6:29 p.m., 200 Blk Acker Rd – A caller reported two calves having an afternoon escapade, making their way around the area!
8:20 p.m., Third Street/Cemetery Street – A wild hog was reported to be running around the cemetery, headed towards the main roads. The caller was concerned about it attacking someone. The hog ended up running off into a field.
MAY 04
6:31 a.m., 100 Blk Bluebonnet Dr – A caller reported their truck had been stolen. The caller told dispatch that the last time they had seen their vehicle was the prior afternoon.
7:10 a.m., FM 1621/I-10 W – A caller reported that he had parked his antique fire truck on the side of the road and the vehicle had been stolen. After law enforcement investigated the matter, they discovered the vehicle had been involved in an accident with DPS and they were handling the situation.
12:49 p.m., 10000 Blk North Creek Rd – A neighbor reported someone was burning tires, resulting in toxic, black smoke. Comfort FD was contacted and came to the scene. They found the individual was burning furniture, not tires.
4:49 p.m., 500 Blk W Hwy 46 – A caller reported a driver pointing a gun at the caller after the driver was tailgating him. The caller reported where the vehicle was driving and then handed the matter over to law enforcement.
6:45 p.m., 200 Blk Wengenroth – A caller reported trespassing issues occurring on his property. Specifically, the caller reported someone messing with the blinds on his trailer. The caller noted to dispatch that other objects on his property had been messed with, implying this was additional evidence of trespassing.
7:41 p.m., 2600 Blk FM 473 – A single-vehicle accident occurred when a vehicle ran into a tree. The driver remained in the car. One of the callers reported the wheels were off the vehicle and the airbags had been deployed. A caller noted to dispatch that the driver smelled like alcohol. Medical assistance was called to the scene and transported the driver to jail.
MAY 05
6:57 a.m., Rust Road – A resident reported a vehicle that had come onto their property and left without speaking to the resident. The resident explained how they were concerned because it was private property.
8:58 a.m., 100 Blk Kreutzberg Rd – A caller reported that one of his horses, which was worth half a million dollars, had a succumbed to a suspicious death. Animal Control investigated the matter and found the horse’s death was most likely an accident.
12:17 p.m., 400 Blk Edge Falls Rd – A caller reported their property line had been spray painted with property markers, without the caller’s knowledge.
1:21 p.m., 200 Blk N Hwy 87 – A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend was burning her stuff. Law enforcement came to the scene and intervened.
1:42 p.m., 100 Blk N FM 3351 – A two-vehicle accident occurred. One of the vehicles involved rolled over. One of the occupants of the vehicle experienced a head injury and was significantly bleeding. Medical assistance was provided.
1:56 p.m., 30000 Blk W I-10 – An employee reported that their boss and a customer had a verbal dispute in which the customer threatened to bring people in to fight. Law enforcement contacted the boss and advised him of what to do if a disturbance occurred.
9:07 p.m., 100 Blk Walnut Way – A concerned caller reported a woman walking around the neighborhood’s mailboxes, yelling “bad words” at her dog.
MAY 06
5:29 a.m., 100 Blk Idlewilde Blvd – A caller initially reported hearing a screaming and sawing noise. While speaking with dispatch, the caller noted that they no longer heard the screaming. Law enforcement investigated the matter and did not find anything criminal occurring, only a couple chickens disagreeing.
7:50 a.m., Olivia Circle – A caller reported they had caged a fox and requested Animal Control assistance in handling the matter.
8:45 a.m., 524 MM W I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle in a ditch on the side of the interstate. The caller noted that the driver had been weaving through traffic, and the caller suspected they were drunk. The caller also told dispatch they believed the driver was attempting to flee the scene.
3:39 p.m., 100 Blk Waring-Welfare – Five cows were out in the road by the river, debating whether or not they should go for a swim.
7:14 p.m., 100 Blk Walnut Way – A caller reported two teenage boys who were racing dirt bikes in the subdivision. The caller estimated they were going double the speed limit. The caller was also unsure if the boys even lived in the area.
11:46 p.m., Hwy 87/FM 473 – A caller reported witnessing a driver drinking a beer as they were headed for the interstate. The caller was concerned the driver was driving under the influence.
MAY 07
8:06 a.m., Kreutzberg Rd – A caller reported an injured raccoon who needed medical assistance.
11:38 a.m., 100 Blk Wollschlaeger Dr – A caller requested assistance with a trapped raccoon.
1:48 p.m., 800 Blk FM 289 – A caller reported a male, who was not on the lease, but kept showing up at the property and staying there. The caller was advised of the eviction process.
5:12 p.m., 200 Blk Scarlet Ridge Dr – A resident reported hearing ten gunshots in the minutes leading up to her phone call. The resident told dispatch she was unsure where the shots were coming from. While she was on the phone with dispatch, the gunshots ceased.
