The Boerne Community Theatre is offering up thrills this month with a local production of a murder mystery play: Murder Weapon.
Production kicked off May 5 and will continue for three weekends, ending its run May 21.
Murder Weapon is a thriller with lots of twists written by Biran Clemens, who authored many other notable works including The Avengers, Inside Job, Without a Trace and Strictly Murder.
Director Barry Goettl has a cast including Diana Richardson, Robin Cunningham, Steve Burney, Paul Peterson, Oscar Salazar, Christina White and Chris Kennedy.
The play starts with a constable and her friend arriving at a home after a night at the opera to discover a murdered husband and a ex-convict standing over his body with a gun in tow.
Through a series of theatrical plots, which include several twists and turns, the mystery unfolds as to who did the deed. But there’s much more to be discovered.
Reservations to see this don’t-miss mystery can be made online at http://www. boernetheatre.org or by calling (830) 249-9166. The show is co-produced by Holt & Holt Funeral Home.
