The Geneva School of Boerne boys and girls golf teams competed at this year’s TAPPS 4A state tournament at Squaw Valley in Glen Rose and a member of the boys team, Jace Hulett, returned to Boerne as a state champion.

Hulett won the individual boys title with a two-day score of 135. The 15-year-old Geneva sophomore shot a 68 on the first day for a personal best and then returned the next day to break that record with a 67 to finish at 5-under par.

Also, by finishing in the top 10, Hulett was named All-State for this year.
