The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. 8:10 a.m., 100 Blk Lake View – A caller reported that mailboxes had been run over by someone’s vehicle.

8:22 a.m., 1000 Blk Diamond – A caller reported he had been assaulted the prior night and had to take himself to the hospital with a face injury. He did not provide any additional information to dispatch.

2:59 p.m., 100 Blk Chisolm – A caller wanted to report a sexual assault on behalf of someone else. The caller explained that the assault had occurred out-of-state, but that respective jurisdiction had told them to contact Boerne law enforcement.

4:53 p.m., 100 Blk Gallant Fox – A resident reported that her phone charger and sunglasses had been stolen from her vehicle earlier that afternoon.

4:53 p.m., 1400 Blk S Main – A store owner requested law enforcement assistance with a male sleeping in his vehicle in the store’s parking lot. The store owner further reported the male was coming in the store and making obscene gestures to the staff.

APRIL 26

2:57 p.m., 200 Blk Johns Road – Drug paraphernalia was found on a juvenile during a probable cause search, and he was taken into custody.

3:38 p.m., 200 Blk W. Bandera Rd – A caller reported that his vehicle was broken into during the ten minutes the caller was inside a store.

5:55 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera Rd – A caller reported a vehicle sitting at the gas pumps for a long period of time the prior evening. The caller noted to dispatch that the vehicle had returned earlier, the caller confronted the driver, and the vehicle had now relocated to the other side of the street. Law enforcement investigated the matter and did not find any criminal wrongdoing.

6:24 p.m., 800 Blk Johns Road – A disgruntled caller reported that there were people at his location who “do drugs”. The caller was concerned because he felt the individuals – a male and a female – were staring at the caller’s apartment and vehicle. The caller told dispatch that the male had earlier approached him, and the caller proceeded to threaten him.

6:30 p.m., 200 Blk Fawn Valley – A caller had earlier reported a suspicious looking van driving around the area. The vehicle returned and was parked in the Boerne Gymnastics’ parking lot. This caller was concerned because it appeared the driver was sitting in the vehicle, watching the kids.

8:54 p.m., 1500 Blk River – A caller reported an intoxicated driver. The caller had unsuccessfully attempted to convince the driver not to get on the road. The driver was noted to be swerving all over the road. The vehicle was pulled over and the driver was taken into custody. EMS was called for the driver when he became unconscious.

APRIL 27

12:20 p.m., 1100 Blk River – A business administrator wanted to report finding illegal substances at the location.

3:27 p.m., 1300 Blk S Main – A caller reported a woman who appeared to be drinking a small bottle of wine in the Walmart parking lot. The caller initially lost a visual on the woman but called again to report the woman was leaving the location with a child.

3:28 p.m., 100 Blk Old San Antonio Rd – A caller reported a man taking pictures of her through her patio window. The caller explained that when she had confronted the man, he said he was with a food delivery service. The caller had a history involving protective orders and was concerned the man was involved.

6:14 p.m., 100 Blk Old San Antonio Rd – A driver was requesting law enforcement assistance with her vehicle. She had gotten stuck in a ditch and was slightly in the road.

7:15 p.m., 200 Blk W Bandera – A store manager requested assistance from law enforcement with two women at the location who were refusing to leave the location.

10:33 p.m., 100 Blk River Rd – A person was detained and later taken into custody after a probable cause search during a routine traffic stop. A towing company took custody of the vehicle.

APRIL 28

9:06 a.m., 539 MM W I-10 – A small brown chihuahua, donning a purple sweater, was running on and off of the interstate. Animal Control was contacted. It is unknown whether the cause of the chihuahua’s panic was because they had to wear aforementioned purple sweater.

10:32 a.m., 400 Blk O’Grady – A caller wanted to report harassment via text message.

11:36 a.m., 100 Blk Crosspoint – A person of interest was reported to be at this location. The caller was the manager of the establishment and seemed to be concerned. Law enforcement investigated the matter and found the male in question to be clear.

11:51 a.m., 100 Blk Old San Antonio Rd – A caller reported a possible scam involving a process server.

12:25 p.m., Christus Pkwy/I-10 W – A caller reported hearing a loud explosion in the area but was unsure where it came from.

5:00 p.m., 1400 Blk E Blanco – A caller reported a store employee hiding behind a pillar, taking pictures of the caller’s daughter.

10:10 p.m., 300 Blk River – A caller reported six kids attempting to catch the ducks by the river. Law enforcement arrived and were unable to locate the individuals.

APRIL 29

9:36 a.m., 100 Blk Whisper Way – A caller reported a neighbor’s door wide open, and their dog had possibly gotten out. The caller noted to dispatch that she did not know where the dog had gone and there had been a prior incident involving the dog biting someone.

3:23 p.m., 200 Blk E Hosack – A caller reported a vacant house that had had its front door open since the prior evening. Law enforcement examined the location and found everything to be secure – no criminal activity.

4:20 p.m., 700 Blk N School – A caller reported benches and lights at the location had been broken.

7:01 p.m., 300 Blk River – A caller reported an adult male with kids who were throwing rocks at the turtles basking in the river.

7:17 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera Rd – A caller reported his phone had been stolen from HEB mere minutes prior to him calling. The caller provided law enforcement with a description of the man he suspected stole the phone. Law enforcement located the individual and the phone.

9:11 p.m., 100 Blk Crosspoint – An employee reported that two money order had been stolen from the office and the office computer had been messed with.

APRIL 25

12:50 a.m., 533 MM W I-10 – A caller reported two cows on the side of the road planning some midnight escapades. Law enforcement arrived and searched the area but were unable to locate the cows. Around an hour later, the suspicious cows were found hiding under the bridge and were returned home.

1:20 a.m., 100 Blk Crosspoint – A woman who was out walking her dog reported an individual walking around, attempting to open up different car doors with a vehicle following him. Law enforcement got involved in the situation and detained the driver of the vehicle and its occupants.

1:08 p.m., N Hwy 87 – The K9 unit was deployed during a traffic stop. A probable cause search was conducted, and the vehicle’s two occupants were taken to jail. A tow truck was called for the vehicle.

3:52 p.m., 200 Blk Cascade Caverns Rd – A caller reported receiving a scam call from a “financial crime enforcement network” in San Francisco. The caller reported that the scammers had asked for specific questions about his bank account, and claimed the federal government was monitoring him.

4:27 p.m., 200 Blk Corazon – A project manager reported that over $2000 in electrical breakers had been stolen from the building site over the weekend.

8:00 p.m., 200 Blk Mill Dam Rd – Our 30 sheep friends from last week decided to crash someone’s evening when they unexpectedly showed up and made themselves at home at someone else’s house this weekend.

APRIL 26

4:54 a.m., 100 Blk Tiptop Lane – A resident reported hearing a group of males on her property, talking. The resident reported that she was hiding in her closet as she was not expecting anyone, and her gate is remote-access only. The resident did not report hearing anything further after contacting law enforcement.

6:46 a.m., 500 Blk MM E I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle in the ditch and seeing an occupant moving around. The caller noted to dispatch that the occupant did not appear to be injured; however, the occupant was later complaining of arm pain. EMS arrived at the scene to provide medical assistance.

10:50 a.m., 800 Blk FM 289 – A caller reported a cow and her two calves making a run for it alongside the highway.

11:18 a.m., Wasp Creek Rd. – A caller reported a spam call in which the scammer pretended to be the caller’s grandson. The scam caller stated that he’d been arrested. A different scan number then called, claiming to be the grandson’s attorney, and demanding $17,000. The caller directly contacted her grandson and found he was okay and not arrested.

5:25 p.m., 9500 Blk FM 1888 – A large truck hauling sand rolled over. The driver was temporarily stuck in the vehicle, pinned between the steering wheel and the seat. Blanco County EMS was called to scene to provide medical assistance. The accident left a five-to-six-inch gouge in the road – TXDOT was contacted. APRIL 27

9:18 a.m., 200 Blk Hwy 46 – A rollover single-vehicle accident occurred. No serious injuries were noted but EMS was still contacted to provide medical assistance. The vehicle required a wrecker.

3:13 p.m., 100 Blk N Wagon Wheel Dr – A caller reported a pickup truck with a trailer that was blocking the road. The caller and pickup truck driver reportedly had a verbal argument, yelling across the road.

5:29 p.m., 544 MM E I-10 – A three-vehicle accident occurred. Miraculously, no injuries occurred, and the three vehicles were able tog et on the side of the road.

6:39 p.m., 100 Blk Sabine Rd – A caller reported gunshots on her property. The caller originally suspected it was her ex-husband but then learned the shots were coming from her neighbor’s house. Law enforcement arrived at the scene and handled the situation.

APRIL 28

1:12 a.m., 100 Blk Crosspoint – A caller reported a young male stumbling around the area. The caller told dispatch the male had grabbed himself inappropriately earlier. The male had begun banging on the caller’s door and opened it, prompting the 911 call. Law enforcement arrived and noted the male appeared to be heavily intoxicated. He agreed to go inside his apartment.

7:44 a.m., 522 MM E I -10 – A law enforcement pursuit occurred. The vehicle was reported to be going roughly 90 MPH and it sped up once law enforcement got behind it. The vehicle briefly got off the interstate and one of the occupants quickly exited the vehicle. The vehicle got on the interstate again before exiting and all occupants ran for it. All five occupants of the vehicle were caught, taken into custody, and handed over to Kerr County.

9:18 a.m., Waring Welfare – A caller reported someone using a duplicate license plate in Dallas. The caller reported that she was getting charged for a vehicle going through a toll road with her license plate.

10:12 a.m., 100 Blk Poehnert Rd – A resident wanted to report her horse was stolen either the prior evening or sometime during the night.

1:39 p.m., 42000 Blk W I-10 – A caller reported his pumphouse had been broken into. He noted that nothing had been stolen or damaged, but he wanted law enforcement to be aware.

APRIL 29

1:13 a.m., 1000 Blk Front St – A caller reported people fighting in the parking lot. The caller told dispatch it was “mostly verbal” fighting and while on the phone, the participants left.

9:53 a.m., 100 Blk Blue Ridge – A caller reported that someone had attempted to break into their office location. The side screen had been removed but it did not appear that they had successfully gotten into the office. The caller also noted to dispatch that an ex-tenant had begrudgingly left the prior weekend.

2:40 p.m., 800 Blk FM 473 – A motorcycle accident occurred. The driver said she felt awake but wanted to be examined by medical services for confirmation. EMS arrived and the driver was then reportedly refusing medical services.

8:37 p.m., Allen Road – A caller reported a physical fight between two teenage girls over a disagreement regarding being roommates. One of the girls had hit the other in the head with a PVC pipe. The dispatch noted she could hear screaming in the background of the call.
