APRIL 18

2:04 a.m., 800 Blk River – A caller reported that someone had attempted to steal his vehicle. The caller had not seen the suspects. However, the vehicle’s ignition was popped and the vehicle had been hotwired.

4:03a.m.,100BlkBluebonnetCircle–A caller reported his vehicle may have been stolen. However, the caller also noted he may have been a payment behind in his car loan payments.

7:53 a.m., 400 Blk Rosewood – A caller reported that someone broken into her vehicle and stole her diaper bag.

9:13 a.m., 100 Blk Bluebonnet Circle – Going along with the other reports, this caller reported her vehicle had been broken into during the night and her wallet was stolen.

9:42 a.m., 100 Blk Mesquite – A resident who had recently returned from being out-of-town, noticed that his fence had been damaged when he was gone.

1:39 p.m., 400 Blk Rosewood – Unfortunately, another caller reported that her vehicle had been broken into during the night and her wallet was stolen.

6:58 p.m., 1300 Blk S Main – Seven to ten teenage boys were reported to be yelling and throwing things at people. They all got in their respective vehicles and left the location.

APRIL 19

7:58 am., 32000 Blk E I-10 – A caller informed dispatch he had purchased a new vehicle last October. When the caller took the vehicle in for service at a different dealership, it was found that some of the wires under the hood had been cut. The caller told dispatch he suspected it was the dealership he took it to for service.

11:09 a.m., 900 Blk N Main – A caller reported going into a store and there not being any employees present. Law enforcement examined the situation and found the building to be physically okay, with no signs of a break in.

11:20 a.m., 400 Blk W Bandera – A caller reported that someone had keyed her car two weeks ago.

1:43 p.m., 1300 S Main – A suspicious caller reported that a Walmart curbside employee had requested the caller’s date of birth when the caller was picking up her order. The caller found this to be very suspicious and provided a false date of birth.

4:07 p.m., 700 Blk River – A man reported that after his lunch break, he noticed the driver’s side mirror on his vehicle had been broken.

5:17 p.m., 500 Blk W Bandera – A caller reported that while driving, they were hit by a vehicle who ran a red light. The accident had occurred 30 minutes prior to the individual calling.

6:35 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera – A caller reported five to eight subjects panhandling

in front of the HEB gas station.

APRIL 20

8:25 a.m., 1300 Blk S Main – A male wasreportedtobeshopliftingtools,duffle bags and flashlights. The caller reported themalewasgoingexittoexit,lookingfor his getaway car. Law enforcement arrived at the scene and the male was detained.

11:44 a.m., 200 Blk Horse Hill – A caller wanted to report harassment via text message.

1:53 p.m., 800 Blk River – A woman came into the lobby to report identity theft.

4:03 p.m., 1600 Blk River – A caller reported a vehicle that drove off the road and into a ditch. The caller was only driving by but told dispatch there did not appear to be any injuries. The driver of the wrecked vehicle was able to get out of the vehicle and had not sustained any serious injuries. A wrecker was called for the vehicle.

4:08 p.m., 200 Blk Charger – A suspicious and concerned mother suspected her son had skipped school, possibly two days in a row. The mother was inquiring what her options were.

APRIL 21

3:35 a.m., 35000 Blk W I-10 – A fire alarm went off at the Comfort Inn. The Boerne FD was called to the scene. A lot of smoke was seen coming from either the second or third floors. Bergheim FD was also called to the scene. Dispatch noted that there was a strong smell of burnt food reported. The source of the smoke was located: burned food in the microwave. Luckily, nobody was injured.

8:27 a.m., 400 Blk W Bandera – A caller reported a male who was shoplifting. The male had stolen over $800 in merchandise. The male then returned to inside the store and was attempting to shoplift additional items. Law enforcement arrived at the scene and detained the male. Additional stolen items were found in the male’s vehicle.

12:33 p.m., 35000 Blk W I-10 – A guest was attempting to leave the location without paying. The caller reported the guest had also thrown drug paraphernalia. Law enforcement arrived and detained the guest.

9:42p.m.,300BlkHerffRanch–Acaller reported witnessing someone jumping from the shed on the back playground to the roof of the school. The two employees at the locations were concerned for their safety and were escorted to their vehicles while law enforcement investigated who was jumping.

APRIL 22

3:47 a.m., 36000 Blk W I-10 – A resident reported that there was a vehicle with its headlights on, facing towards her house.

10:43 a.m., Herff Road – A caller reported that someone had hit his wife’s vehicle. The caller told dispatch he suspected which vehicle did it and believed the other vehicle was unaware it had done the damage. The caller was unable to locate the owner at the time.

11:13 a.m., 700 Blk River – A caller reportedthatwhenshehadtakenherson to the hospital, someone had broken into their residence and stolen all electronics. The caller also reported that there was a kid sleeping on their couch who had quickly run off.

12:00 p.m., 300 Blk Yolana – A break in was reported at a vacant home. The caller reported that someone had broken the home’s windows and items inside the house had been moved. The caller informed dispatch that the house belongs to her relative, but they were not currently there.

5:03 p.m., 100 Blk City Lake – An employee reported a group of three to four young adult males were sitting by the lake, smoking marijuana and being sexually explicit, despite there being children present.

7:11 p.m., 200 Blk Woods of Boerne – A caller reported a confused raccoon who thought he was the one driving that day. The caller requested assistance in removing the raccoon from his vehicle.

APRIL 23

12:47 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera – An employee reported a van that had been camping near the location, in its parking lot. The employee asked dispatch for assistance in removing the van and occupants from the parking lot.

2:33 p.m., 100 Blk Herff – A caller reported a vehicle that had been parked in front of the location’s doors all night and was still at the location.

3:05 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera – A caller reported there was a male going around HEB asking for something. Law enforcement walked around the store and was unable to locate the male.

3:42 p.m., 400 Blk Bandera – A two-vehicle accident was reported. A caller reported that she had been hit by another vehicle but luckily no injuries resulted.

4:00 p.m., 400 Blk Bandera – A woman reported that a man had intentionally hit her vehicle. The woman told dispatch that the man was double parked, and then got mad at the woman for not moving her vehicle. The man used his vehicle door to intentionally hit the woman’s vehicle.

10:28 p.m., 400 Blk N Plant – A concerned caller reported a vehicle that had been parked in the caller’s driveway, then left and then returned. The caller stated that she could not tell how many occupants were in the vehicle and no one had exited the vehicle.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE APRIL 18

8:06 a.m., Pleasant Valley/Tiffany – A concerned mother reported a suspicious pickup truck driving around the area. The mother told dispatch she was especially concerned because this was the area she drops off her kids for the school bus. The driver of the suspicious vehicle had attempted to talk with the caller’s children.

4:19 p.m., Scenic Loop Rd – Another RV owner called in to report their catalytic converterhadbeenstolenfromtheirRVat some point in recent days.

4:29 p.m., 1400 Blk FM 473 – A single vehicle accident occurred. The vehicle drove off the road and hit a fence. The caller, who was not the driver, told dispatch he had spoken with the driver who reported he had no injuries. The driver’s biggest concern was livestock getting out as a result of the damaged fence.

9:36 p.m., 100 Blk Cave Circle – An individual walked in to the Sheriff’s Department holding a cat. He informed dispatch that he was unable to keep the cat for the night and left before identification information could be taken.

APRIL 19

12:26 a.m., 539 MM W I-10 – After a routine traffic stop, the vehicle in question was investigated as being stolen. The driver was taken into custody and the vehicle was found to be stolen.

11:04 a.m., 300 Blk FM 474 – A caller reported he had made a financial arrangement with an individual for the purchase of some tools. The caller informed dispatch that he had received the first two payments, but the other individual was refusing to pay the third. Law enforcement informed the individual that it was a civil matter.

5:02 p.m., N Hwy 87 – A caller reported that her phone had been stolen while they were travelling home. The caller had lost her phone at the gas station and had found it pinging in Irion County. The law enforcement in the phone’s location were contacted.

5:50 p.m., Hwy 87/I-10 – A two-vehicle accident occurred. Both of the vehicles were in the road and unable to move. One of the vehicles was leaking fluid; therefore, Comfort FD was contacted. Two wreckers and an EMS vehicle were called to the scene.

6:16 p.m., 400 Blk Old #9 – A caller reported that on the prior Sunday, one of the vehicles on his property had been broken into.

APRIL 20

2:20 a.m., 100 Blk W Hwy 46 - A vehicle was pulled over for a traffic stop. A subsequent probable cause search occurred. Both the driver and passenger were detained, and a tow truck was called for the vehicle.

8:14 a.m., 2800 Blk FM 473 – A caller reported mail had been stolen from his mailbox. The mail believed to be stolen involved two checks. Luckily, the bank had been contacted and the checks were able to be cancelled.

10:04 a.m., 700 Blk Deer Rd – A stove caught on fire. Alamo Spring FD was called to the scene. Medical services were also called. The fire was successfully extinguished.

2:04 p.m., 100 Blk N Hwy 87 – A driver reported an 18-wheeler had “kicked up” debris which had cracked the driver’s windshield. The driver was following the 18-wheeler. Law enforcement informed the driver that the incident would be considered road debris and not considered intentional vehicle damage.

2:37 p.m., 200 Blk Corazon – A builder reported four thefts at four respective job sites. The builder reported that 20-25 housebreakers had been stolen. He told dispatch that he believed the theft had occurred eight days prior.

4:00 p.m., 545 MM W I-10 – A caller reported a hit and run accident involving a concrete truck. The concrete truck had nolicenseplatebutthecallertolddispatch the company name. The caller had a limited amount of gas and had to pull over. DPS took over the investigation.

APRIL 21

1:26 a.m., 500 Blk E I-10 – Assistance from Kendall County law enforcement was requested by Kerr and Kimble County. Law enforcement deputies from Kerr and Kimble County were in pursuit of the vehicle. The vehicle was suspected of having illegal immigrants in it. They had attempted putting down spikes multiple times but were unsuccessful. Both departments’ pursuit vehicles lost sight of the vehicle.

2:57 p.m., 200 Blk W Hwy 46 – A cow whose owner was away for the day went on a jaunt down the side of the road.

3:22 p.m., 523 MM W I-10 – A routine traffic stop was conducted and the K9 unit was deployed. The K9 unit issued a positive alert and the male fought but was eventually taken into custody. A wrecker was called for the vehicle.

7:10 p.m., 42000 Blk W I-10 – A caller reported someone walking in the road dressed in all black with a hood on. The caller was especially concerned because she noted the person was very pale. Law enforcement investigated the matter and found the individual to be okay.

8:11 p.m., N Hwy 87 – A caller reported a driver pulling a gun on him after they had an issue on the roadway. The caller wanted to press charges against the driver. Law enforcement contacted the driver, and it was a less-than-pleasant interaction. The caller also contacted law enforcement again and was not pleased with how they were handling the situation.

9:40 p.m., 100 Blk Amarosa – A caller reported the house being built next to theirs had a vehicle parked in front of the house and two males had gotten out. Another caller reported the same situation. This caller told dispatch they heard loud noises and saw flashlights on the premises. The original caller then told dispatch that they males had driven off and were headed in the direction of a different neighborhood.

APRIL 22

10:46 a.m., 522 MM W I-10 – An individual was taken into custody after their vehicle was searched after being stopped for a routine traffic stop. The individual was taken to jail.

12:04 p.m., 100 Blk Mill Dam Rd – A caller reported 30 goats out running down the road, having a fun Sunday brunch.

1:48 p.m., FM 289/I-10 EB – A bicyclist requested assistance from law enforcement. They had a flat tire and were unable to get the required supplies in Comfort. Law enforcement gave the bicyclist a ride.

6:50 p.m., 100 Blk Bent Tree – A caller reported two males on dirt bikes “flying down the street”, revving their engines. The caller reported the male appeared to be in their 20s and were then circling the road. Law enforcement arrived at the scene and could not locate the males.

7:24 p.m., 100 Blk Pankratz Rd – Vandalism wasreportedonaruralpieceofproperty. A travel trailer had multiple windows broken, a boat was stolen, pieces of furniture werestolen,andotherdamagesweredone.

APRIL 23

12:46 a.m., Hill View Lane – A caller reported that someone had parked outside their house again. The caller stated the vehicle had left when law enforcement arrived and then returned after law enforcement left. They informed dispatch they could not seethevehicle,buttheycouldhearit.

4:55 p.m., 33000 Blk W I-10 – A caller reported a horse running around. The caller told dispatch that someone was able to rope the horse but were unsure who the owner was. The suspected owner was unable to be contacted and Animal Control took custody of the horse.

6:27 p.m., 100 Blk N Pleasant Valley Dr – A concerned resident requested additional law enforcement patrol of the area due to continual speeding occurring.

8:14 p.m., 526 MM W I-10 – A vehicle wasreportedtobespeedingupandslowing down on the interstate and unable to maintain lanes. The caller reported the driver after they had almost been hit.

9:52 p.m., N Hwy 87 – A caller reported a driver they suspected to be intoxicated. The caller reported the vehicle was swerving and unable to maintain lanes. Law enforcement located the driver and discovered he had a medical condition.
