The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. APRIL 12
1:53 p.m., Deer Creek/Esser – A caller reported that her and her neighbors had heard a very loud explosion in the area. The caller told dispatch the noise sounded “like a bomb” but did not visually see anything. Law enforcement investigated the matter and found everything in the area to be normal.
2:35 p.m., 600 Blk W Bandera – A caller reported a hit and run incident in a parking lot. An unknown vehicle had hit the caller’s vehicle before driving off. He had even parked far away from the store.
3:14 p.m., 500 Blk Fabra – A caller wanted to report an instance of credit card fraud.
3:37 p.m., 200 Ludwig – A spouse walked in the PD Lobby to report an instance of sexual assault by their spouse.
5:31 p.m., 31000 Blk W I-10 – A woman called in to report she had paid a dealership $4000 but they would not provide her with the vehicle. Law enforcement was unable to make contact with the dealership.
8:18 p.m., 400 Blk Frey – A concerned resident called in to report a struggling cat that had been run over but was alive – courtesy of its nine lives. Shortly after the phone call ended, the resident called back to report it was only a plastic bag.
9:05 p.m., Herff/River – An accident occurred involving a flipped over vehicle. One of the occupants was initially entrapped but was able to get out of the vehicle. One of the occupants reported not being able to feel one side of their body. Other occupants reported serious injuries including back pain. The intersection was temporarily closed as three
wreckers removed the vehicles.
APRIL 13
9:30 a.m., 400 Blk N Main – A concerned mother called in to request assistance from law enforcement after she had accidentally locked her vehicles in her car with a baby inside. Luckily, the engine was off. A towing company was contacted, and the vehicle was unlocked within 10 minutes.
3:36 p.m., 100 Blk Bandera – A caller reported that she felt like she had been attacked by a woman. However, the woman could not finish the phone call as she had just gotten to work.
5:21 p.m., 33000 Blk W I-10 – A caller wanted to file a complaint against a vehicle company for harassment.
6:01 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera – An employee called in to report a suspicious situation. The employee told dispatch about a vehicle with its tires blown out. The suspected driver appeared to be intoxicated. Another individual called in to report the individual. Law enforcement made contact with the driver. He was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody.
7:03 p.m., 200 Blk Lone Tree – A caller reported a male dressed in all black who was walking down the road and opened a mailbox. A vehicle drove by the male and honked. The male proceeded to get in the vehicle and they drove away. The caller did not recognize either individual as being from the neighborhood.

8:50 a.m., 100 Blk Medical – A caller reported illegal dumping at the location. Someone had dumped trash and large objects that are not permitted.
10:01 a.m., 31000 Blk W I-10 – An employee who had been fired, came back to the working location to steal some of the tools. Law enforcement contacted the former-employee and he showed up at the PD Lobby to return the items.
12:31 p.m., 200 Blk Cibolo Crossing – A caller reported his firearm had been stolen from his vehicle some time during the prior two weeks.
3:32 p.m., River/Esser – A driver reported she had been rear-ended by another vehicle. Both vehicles remained on the road, causing issues for traffic. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were able to relocate to a nearby parking lot to work out the details.
4:02 p.m., 300 Blk Menger Springs – A caller reported hearing a lot of gunfire in the area.The caller noted to dispatch that the gunfire had been occurring for 30 minutes prior to his call.
4:24 p.m., 600 Blk W Bandera – A caller reported a hit and run accident. A vehicle hit the caller’s vehicle and then continued driving on Bandera Road.
5:10 p.m., 1500 Blk S Main – A caller reported a male getting out of his vehicle and pointing a gun at the caller. Law enforcement was able to locate the vehicle of the male and after investigation took the male into custody.

3:06 a.m., 100 Blk April Ln - A woman called in to report her boyfriend had assaulted her. The woman refused medical assistance but did note the boyfriend had previously fractured her hip.
8:32 a.m., 533 MM W I-10 – A caller requested law enforcement assistance after her vehicle broke down on the side of the road. The caller had a spare tire but lacked the appropriate tools. The vehicle on patrol attempted to assist in the matter but also did not have the appropriate tools. However, they did provide the caller with the phone number of a location that could help.
9:42 a.m., Scenic Loop Rd – A caller reported the catalytic converter had been stolen off his RV, amongst others. Collectively, 14 RVs at the location were missing catalytic converters. Dispatch noted a suspicious vehicle that had visited the location the prior evening.
12:25 p.m., 100 Blk Blaschke Rd – Nine cows had escaped their field and were on the other side of the fence, deciding where to go for lunch.
6:57 p.m., 10 Blk W Hwy 46 – A driver reported that earlier that day, another vehicle sped in front of him, slammed on their brakes and pulled out a gun before the caller drove away. The driver noted to dispatch that no shots were fired.
9:11 p.m., 400 Blk W Tapatio – A caller reported hearing “rapid” gunfire in his location but could not identify where it was coming from.
APRIL 13
1:40 a.m., Hill View Lane – A caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked outside their house. The caller explained how the vehicle had been there earlier in the day before leaving and then later returning.The caller could not distinguish how many occupants were in the vehicle.
8:44 a.m., 200 Blk FM 289 – A ram (the mischievous ringleader) was leading roughly seven sheep into the roadway.
3:53 p.m., S FM 3351 – A woman called in to report that her estranged husband had stolen her vehicle. The woman reported to dispatch that he had taken the vehicle while she was in the doctor’s office.
7:13 p.m., Lost Valley Road – A caller reportedthatawomansheknowsisgoing through a rough divorce and asked law enforcement to monitor her to make sure she was okay. The caller cited how she noticed two vehicles blocking the woman’s driveway. Law enforcement made contact with the woman and she assured she was okay and explained she had intentionally parked the vehicles there.
10:05 p.m., 9200 Blk Old San Antonio Rd – A resident reported a bright light outside their window. The resident reported that this was odd because it was normally dark during this time. When law enforcement made contact with the caller, the caller explained he now only saw a porch light and someone with a flashlight.
APRIL 14
1:18 a.m., 100 Blk N Hwy 87 – A caller reported someone taking a nap in their vehicle.
1:23 a.m., 500 Blk Sunflower – A woman reported a pickup truck that had been running in the parking lot for roughly five hours.The woman was unsure of there were any occupants. Law enforcement notified the owner of the location.
8:53 a.m., Clubs/Mayacama Ridge – A caller reported a male on the side of the road exposing himself while urinating next to his vehicle.
9:04 a.m., Hwy 87/I-10 – A two-vehicle accidentoccurredbetweentwo18-wheelers. The caller, not involved in the incident, told dispatch that the drivers were yelling at each other. One of the occupants had a broken arm as a result and was provided withmedicalassistance.Both18-wheelers required wreckers.
4:45 p.m., 100 Blk Kreutzberg Rd – A caller reported a “large cow” that was in the middle of the road. The caller, wanting to have an interesting evening, successfully herded the cow back into its pasture.
4:23 p.m., 100 Blk Big Joshua Creek Rd – A caller reported that 25 goats had gotten out and ended up at his property.
