Joan Marie (Lintozzi) Goble passed away surrounded by family and friends on April 5, 2023. Joan was the daughter of Charles and Florence (Arrella) Lintozzi. She was born in Red Bank, New Jersey, on August 31, 1940, but spent the majority of childhood in New York City. She met and married Lawrence Kinsella and soon moved to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Larry was serving his country in the 101st Airborne Unit of the US Army. Their daughter, Anna Marie, was born on March 6, 1961. A couple of years later, they divorced. Joan soon met the love of her life, Gerald Goble, and they married in 1968. Gerald was attending Wichita State University. After receiving his master’s degree, they relocated several times and found their way to Boerne during the mid 90’s.
Joan was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, and also a member of the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce. She loved reading, knitting, traveling and gardening. She entered one of her knitted creations into the Kendall County Fair and was one of the top three
winners. She also assisted Gerald in operating their Boerne Tai Kwan Do business, Mor Ri Do.
Joan is survived by husband of 53 years, Gerald W Goble; her daughter, Anna Marie Goble; her grandchildren Thomas John Jr., Angeline Rose, Gerald James, and Mary Elizabeth Boyle; three great-grandchildren, Bryan Boyle, Gage and Gavan Tomlinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Anna Marie Lintozzi and Elizabeth “Betty” Lintozzi both from New York City.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Ebensberger Fisher Funeral Home.
