Geneva’s Flowering of the Cross

Geneva held its reverent and beloved Flowering of the Cross assemblies. This annual event gives the entire school community the opportunity to add a flower to a bare wooden cross as they reflect on Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection. By adding these flowers, the wooden cross is transformed into a beautifully fragrant cross, signifying the life, beauty and joy that Jesus Christ brings to the world.
