After six seasons as the Geneva School of Boerne head volleyball coach, Shelly Vaughn is stepping away from the position.
Vaughn will stay with the school in her current job where she serves as the executive assistant to the head of school.
Over her six seasons leading the Eagles, Vaughn accumulated a record of 150-82 and went 48-14 in district play during that span.
Geneva won two district titles under Vaughn and advanced all the way to the state champion match in 2019 where the Eagles lost to Lubbock Trinity Christian in four sets at the TAPPS 4A state finals in Waco to finish second in the state.
Madison Nagy, who has been Vaughn’s assistant the last several years, will become the new head coach.
