Chargers top Tivy, 4-2

Boerne Champion won a low-scoring baseball game over Kerrville Tivy Tuesday night in Kerrville, 4-2.

The Chargers improved to 18-6-1 overall and 5-2 in district. They finished out their series with the Antlers Thursday in Boerne before beginning a series with Pieper next week.

Both teams did half of their scoring in the first inning. The Chargers scored 2 runs in the top of the first and then the Antlers answered with a run in the bottom half of the inning thanks to a triple to make it 2-1 in favor of Champion.
