Boerne ISD has five football players selected to participate in Saturday’s San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game in the Alamodome.
Three Chargers, quarterback Karson Kaiser, wide receiver Ryan Brandon and offensive lineman Ryan Lira, have been selected to be part of Team Black.
Two Greyhounds will suit up for Saturday’s game after quarterback Rashawn Galloway and tight end Koby Hunter have been selected to play on Team Gold.
Kaiser will not play but will represent the Chargers at the game. He was hurt in Champion’s last playoff game of the season and is still recovering from a knee injury.
Last year, the game featured 112 seniors representing 62 high schools from the greater San Antonio area. Saturday’s game kicks off at 5 p.m. in the Dome and follows the All-American Bowl.
