Before spring break, the Boerne High varsity track teams were at Davenport for the Wolves Relays. The Hounds were back at the track this week to take part in the Devine Invitational on Wednesday.
At Davenport, the Lady Hounds were 4th with 97 points and the BHS boys were 3rd with 102 points.
Varsity Girls
Eleanor Davis won the 3200 in a time of 12:06, Mary Marino came in 4th in the 1600 after clocking in at 5:33, while Allison Dement placed 4th in the 100 hurdles in 19.10 and Emma Wright finished 5th at 20.18.
Savannah Seibert placed 2nd in the 400 after clocking in at 1:00.37, while the 4x100 was 6th with a time of 54.65, the 4x200 placed 4th with a 1:50 and the 4x400 also came in 4thafter turning in a 4:16.
Kendall Lemm took 2nd in the high jump after she cleared 5-6 and Alyson Bendele was 5th after she cleared 4-10. Savannah Seibert came in 2nd in the long jump with a leap of 16-09, Kayuki Warren placed 4th in the pole vault after she vaulted 10-0, while Addie Dayoc was 6th after she went 8-0 and Landon Wade was 7th at 8-0.
Tori Adams won the discus with a toss of 127-08 and Averi Aaron was 7th at 94-08. Adams also won the shot put with a throw of 44-09, Aaron came in 3rd at 31-10 and Morgan Naylor was 5th with a throw of 30-07.
Varsity Boys
In the 100, Woody Goen finished 6th in the 100 with a time of 11.66, Bode Brown placed 4th in the 200 after posting a 23.12, Max Migliozzi took 6th in the 400 with a time of 54.04 and Carson Coffland was 7th in 54.76.
Caleb Benchoff placed 6th in the 800 after recording a 2:10, Chase Balderas was 6th in the 1600 with a time of 4:56 and Balderas also came in 5th in the 3200 after posting a 10:34, while Parker Powell was 7th in the 3200 at 10:58.
McCoy Bruce and Hudson Bruce went 2nd and 3rd in the 110 hurdles after McCoy clocked in at 16.41 and Hudson came in with a 16.57. McCoy was also 2nd in the 300 hurdles after clocking in at 42.13 and Hudson placed 7th with a 44.57.
BHS was 7th in the 4x100 with a time of 44.83, the 4x200 captured 1st in 1:31 and the 4x400 also came in 1st after turning in a 3:32.
Woody Goen finished 3rd in the long jump after he leaped 20-00.50, Javier Benevides was 6th in the triple jump with a distance of 36-04, Kaden Fisher finished 4th in the discus with a toss of 127-11 and Oliver Sweeney was 6th in the discus with a throw of 118-00.
Logan Schramm won the shot put with a heave of 48-04.25 and Kaden Fisher was 2nd at 47-05, while Braden Bays came in 7th at 39-05.50.
