Boerne High clinched its fifth consecutive district title in boys soccer with last Friday’s 11-0 win over Great Hearts Northern Oaks in San Antonio.

The Greyhounds are 10-0 in district and 20-3-2 overall. BHS will look to finish out district play with a perfect mark. They visited Wimberley on Tuesday and have a bye Friday. They’ll close out the regular season against Canyon Lake after spring break.

In last Friday’s match, the Greyhounds had 10 different players scored its 11 goals.

Bear Kelly tallied 2 goals, while Jake Herman, Jess Gonzales, Joe Ballenger, Fernando Palacios, Caleb Benchoff, Sam Gonzales, Austin Vecino, Brett Hettie and Ezekiel Price all netted single goals.

Palacios and Ballenger had 2 assists apiece, while Jess Gonzales Hudson Stevens, Kelly, Elian Arriola, Vecino and Jake Herman as 10 of the 11 goals were assisted.
