Boerne boys soccer sacks South San Antonio

Boerne High visited the southside of San Antonio on Friday where the BHS boys soccer team picked up a 4- 1 win over the Bobcats.

The Greyhounds are 4-1 this year and were scheduled to visit New Braunfels Tuesday before playing in the Hidalgo Tournament this coming weekend.

The two-time defending state champs certainly didn’t need a lot of help, but South San gave up two own goals to spot the Boerne boys two goals.

Shae Gonzales scored an unassisted goal, while Liam Griffiths also tallied a goal on the Jess Gonzales assist to account for Boerne’s two goals.
