Three BISD athletes play in all-star football game at Alamodome

Three Boerne ISD football players participated in last week’s San Antonio Sports All-Star Football game held at the Alamodome.

The game followed the national all-star game that kicked off at noon. The local all-star game started at 5 p.m. and featured two Greyhounds and one Charger.

All three athletes played for the victorious Black Team that defeated the Gold Team, 41-34.

Champion’s Kannon Brooks was a wide receiver for the Black Team, Boerne High’s Jeffrey Brown played on the defensive line for the Black Team, while Boerne High’s Jacob McLaughlin was the starting center for the Black Team and McLaughlin played the entire game.
