Three games into district play and the Boerne High girls soccer team is still looking for its first win in 26-4A after a tie and a loss this week to go with another tie in the league opener.
It’s an unusual spot for the Lady Greyhounds to be in since they’ve won the last seven district titles. They still have time to collect some wins and make a run at an eighth consecutive title.
The Lady Greyhounds are at Canyon Lake Friday.
On Monday of this week, the Boerne girls were at Wimberley and played to a tie with the Lady Texans. On Tuesday, Boerne hosted Davenport and lost to the Wolves.
Boerne is 7-3-4 overall and 0-1-2 in district.

All the scoring was done in the first half of Tuesday’s match after neither team scored in the second half.
