Boerne High participated in its second boys basketball tournament of the year last weekend after the Greyhounds were entered in the New Braunfels Canyon tourney.
BHS won its first and last games at the event where the Hounds posted a record of 2-3 to stand at 9-5 overall.
The Greyhounds played Uvalde earlier in the week and are scheduled to play Southwest this weekend.
Boerne opened the NB Canyon tourney with a 48-42 win over Madison and then fell to Beaumont West Brook later in the day, 65-48.
On Friday, the Greyhounds dropped both its contest. BHS lost to Leander Rouse, 62-53, and then was defeated by Pflugerville Weiss, 46-44.
BHS returned on Saturday and faced host New Braunfels Canyon and defeated the Cougars, 48-36.
