Geneva volleyball players earn postseason awards

The Geneva School of Boerne had six volleyball players recently earned postseason awards.

Karynn Garrow was named first-team all-district, first-team all-state and academic all-state.

Ella Babic was named first-team all-district and second-team all-state.

Ella Grace Owens was named first-team all-district and honorable mention all-state.

Abby Bower was named second-team all-district, Cammy Curtis was named honorable mention all-district and Kenzie Cates was named honorable mention all-district.

Geneva finished its year at 25-17 overall and was one round shy of advancing to the TAPPS state tournament.

The Eagles beat Houston Cyprus Christian in three sets and then lost to Brentwood Christian in five sets for the right to go to state.
