The Boerne High volleyball team took a break from district play on Tuesday and visited Antonian for a non-district match.
It was a rough outing for the Lady Greyhounds after they didn’t hit double digits in any of the sets played against the Lady Apaches.
Antonian beat them in three straight, 25-9, 25-7, 25-9 and drops Boerne to 20-14 overall. The Lady Greyhounds resume district play Friday on the road at Wimberley.
In fact, BHS will on the road for three in a row –
Wimberley, Navarro and Canyon Lake – before heading home to face Fredericksburg on Oct. 25 in the regular-season finale.
Tori Adams had 2 kills and 3 digs on Tuesday, Ava Rocchio, Ceci Theriot and Tana Lux all had 1 kill, Lux and Aubrey Menz both finished with 2 assists, while Madison Morris recorded 5 digs. Menz, Kashtin Waibel and Jayleen Reyna all came up with 4 digs and Lux, Hayden Chappell and Morgan Naylor all had 3 digs each.
