Three of the area volleyball teams were in action Friday night as they continued district play, while Geneva School of Boerne was off.
Comfort High
Comfort opened its brand-new Multi-Purpose Center in style as the Deer came away with a win over Llano in four sets, 25-12, 25-16, 24-26, 25-19. Comfort is 22-9 overall and 5-1 in district and travels to Brady on Tuesday.
Boerne High
The Lady Greyhounds were at home and beat Bandera in three sets, 25-17, 25-21, 25-14. Boerne improves to 20-13 overall and 4-4 in district. BHS is scheduled to play at Antonian Tuesday in a non-district match and then resume league play Friday in Wimberley.
Boerne Champion
Champion was in Seguin on Friday and defeated the Lady Matadors in three sets, 25-11, 25-21, 25-21.The Lady Chargers bump their record to 28-8 overall and 6-3 in district.
