Lady Chargers power past Patriots

After dropping its last two volleyball matches, Boerne Champion was able to snap its twomatch skid on Tuesday with a win at Veterans Memorial.

The Lady Chargers pounded the Lady Patriots, 25-12, 19-25, 25-17, 25-20. Champion improves to 27-8 overall and 5-3 in district. They visited Seguin Friday and then host New Braunfels Canyon on Tuesday.

Kelsey Rogers finished with 7 kills, 2 aces, 6 digs and 5 blocks, Izzy Maszak tallied 23 assists and 8 digs, Sadie Hoyt had 8 digs, Emmy Koke recorded 5 kills and 6 blocks, Ella Coleman totaled 10 kills, 6 assists, 4 digs and 4 blocks, Erin Martin added 7 kills, 4 digs and 5 blocks, Raylynn Pitts led the team in kills with 14 and also had 14 digs, Gabriela Rossello came up with 4 assists and 12 digs, Erin Fallon finished with 16 assists, 2 aces and 5 digs and Cameron Seaux chipped in with 2 aces and 2 digs.
