Group to pass through Boerne on horseback

The Alamo Kountry Kickers will be passing through Boerne on horseback on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 6, weather permitting.

Vice President Morgen Bernhard said club members are staying in Comfort on Saturday night and will make their way to the Kendall County Cowboy Church on Sunday morning to attend services and eat lunch.

They then will travel along the Interstate 10 service road into the city limits, where they will make their way to the Kendall County Fairgrounds and enjoy a meal sponsored by the Kendall County Fair Association.

On Monday, the riders will head to Bulverde.

Among the group members participating are trail boss David Wiedenfeld and the organization’s queen, Cheyenne Skipper.
