The Boerne Champion water polo teams were in action last week with doubleheader action against Brandeis and Health Careers as their inaugural season is starting to wind down.

Champion finishes out the regular season this Saturday with matches against Marshall at the Northside Natatorium.

The Charger boys look to wrap up this year’s district title with a perfect record and a win for the girls team clinches a playoff berth as the fourth seed.

The Champion boys beat Brandeis, 12-2, and then handled Health Careers, 17-6, to improve to 9-0 overall and 7-0 in district.

On the girls side, the Lady Chargers dropped both matches. They fell to Health Careers 12-4 and to Brandeis, 16-4. They slip to 2-7 overall and 1-6 in

district.
