The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT
SEPTEMBER 1
7:26 a.m., 1357 S. Main St.- A man was upset with The Grind, saying they were playing music “way too loudly.”
9:37 a.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Rd.- An officer followed a student walking away from campus.
11:24 a.m., 825 Johns Rd.- A mother brought her 2-year-old daughter to the emergency room accusing someone at the child’s grandmother’s apartment of sexually assaulting the child.
1:16 p.m., 100 block Deerwood Oaks- A man said someone bused out his vehicle window overnight.
1:41 p.m., 31700 I-10 W.- A man said another driver displayed a handgun, cocked it and drove away. Kendall Elementary was put on lockdown as a result btu was reopened after a few minutes.
4:36 p.m., 100 block Lone Star- Five women were soliciting services but quickly left when they realized they knocked on a law enforcement officer’s door.
5:20 p.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman wanted history on a day when Main Street was closed in the 1990s.
11:02 p.m., 539 MM I-10 E.A driver was arrested during a traffic stop.
SEPTEMBER 2
3:18 a.m., 701 Oak Park Dr.- A man woke up to find another man had broken into his home and was standing over him.
10:03 a.m., 100 block Rattlesnake Bluff- A man lost his wallet. He didn’t know where or when, but his bank requested a police report.
12:18 p.m., 1379 S. Main St.- The homeless woman often seen dancing on Bandera Road was accused of stealing someone’s belongings while at Murphy U.S.A.
4:11 p.m., 451 N. Main St.Library staff asked for a criminal trespass warning for a man causing a scene on the second floor.
6:23 p.m., Shooting Club Road-A Walmart delivery driver said he was verbally assaulted by a man and woman who yelled racist comments at him.
SEPTEMBER 3
9:14 a.m., Plant Street and Adler Road- An older woman in pajamas was standing on the side of the road and looked confused.
10:56 a.m., 200 block E. Highland Dr.- A woman was still receiving toll road charges for a vehicle she’d sold.
11:32 a.m., 1400 block S. Main St.- Two individuals were arrested after they were reported for trespassing.
12:45 p.m., 100 block E. Hampton Run- A woman reported her 32-year- old son for taking the car without permission.
2:16 p.m., 200 block Cibolo Ranch- A woman wanted to speak with officers about her husband tampering with evidence on her Google Drive.
3:53 p.m., 3200 block I-10 E.- A woman got her car back from the area after two months and was upset to find items missing.
10:01 p.m., 200 block N. Main- A woman’s debit card was stolen from her backpack two days prior, and she said she knew exactly who took it.
10:41 p.m., 1300 block River Rd.- Three “young” men were seen looking into car windows and into the beds of trucks.
SEPTEMBER 4
12:36 a.m., 128 W. Blanco Rd.A woman reported 10-15 loud men and women in the courtyard at The Kendall. Officers found the wedding guests weren’t violating any laws or ordinances.
12:55 a.m., Scenic Loop Road and I-10 E.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop after a field sobriety test was conducted.
8:08 a.m., 1375 S. Main St.- A woman was seen lying next to her automated wheelchair after the battery died.
8:58 a.m., 121 W. Bandera Rd.A homeless man asked someone to call police because someone kept stealing items from his tent. The man didn’t tell the caller where his tent was, but the caller said the man would be in the trees and bushes behind ReMax of Boerne.
10:37 a.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.- An H-E-B employee reported a woman attempted to buy about $250 worth of groceries with food stamps. Some of the items weren’t covered by the state funds, but the woman left with all the items anyway.
5:18 p.m., 524 Adler Rd.- A group of kids were seen unbolting a sign at the city park. The sign was gone when deputies arrived.
10:58 p.m., 100 block Burnswick- A man reported his wife was hitting him that night after getting drunk. She handled a gun at one point but put it back. She was arrested.
SEPTEMBER 5
12 a.m., 600 block Rosewood Ave.- A woman approached a home, asking a teenage boy about his home and neighbors. The woman claimed two teenage boys dressed in camo attempted to sel her drugs.
2:01 p.m., 200 block S. Plant St.- A woman found a Boerne ISD student badge belonging to a 12th grader.
5:27 p.m., 100 block Winding River- A woman received harassing or threatening messages online and asked officers to take photos.
6:53 p.m., 33100 block I-10 W.A man in a pickup truck reported personal property was damaged and siding panels were stolen. He told officers they could find him by taking a dirt road between a field and a business.
8:45 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.A man and woman driving a Toyota Carola took off without paying for gas.
10:45 p.m., 600 block Rosewood Ave.- A mother reported her 34-year-old daughter was hitting herself in the head with a laptop.
KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SEPTEMBER 1
8:01 a.m., 30500 I-10 W.- A man heard five or six gunshots near Geneva School of Boerne.
8:03 a.m., 15 FM 1621- A man’s former tenant kept harassing him after they vacated.
9:32 a.m., 100 bock Milagro-Deputies helped the U.S. Secret Service officers serve an arrest warrant.
1:12 p.m., 20 block Schmidt Lane- Wilson County officers asked local deputies to check an address for a grey, older-model Jeep because the owner had a felony warrant out Wilson County for failure to appear and theft of mail. The Jeep was not there.
2:09 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- A San Antonio bomb squad was called in to help with the disposal of a weapon reported by a Boerne resident.
8:27 p.m., 200 block N. Walnut Way- A man sent pictures online and was now being blackmailed for $300.
SEPTEMBER 2
7:46 a.m., Hwy 46 E. and Esperanza Blvd.- A vehicle was impounded because the driver hadn’t insured the vehicle, and the registration was expired.
10:46 a.m., 100 block Ammann Rd.- A goat showed up on a woman’s property with a bucket stuck on its head.
10:48 a.m., 200 block Mountain Creek Trail- A man reported his mother took his dog, but he had paperwork showing the dog belonged to him. The mother had called deputies the week before, wanting her son arrested for warrants she said he had out of Bexar County.
5:28 p.m., 529 MM I-10 E.A fellow motorist was unhappy about a man in a U-Haul passing other vehicles in the shoulder.
6:06 p.m., 100 block Escalera-A man reported smoke inside his home, but he didn’t know where it was coming from.
6:27 p.m., 115 Hwy 46- A woman wanted to speak with deputies about her cat being stolen.
8:10 p.m., 200 block Winchester Dr.- A woman was afraid someone would hit a loose jackass in the road.
9:21 p.m., 100 block W. Fabra Lane- A black cow took to the streets.
9:38 p.m., 100 block Hwy 87 N.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
10:16 p.m., 533 MM I-10 E.- A man in white pants was lying face down in a ditch. It was a large bag of trash.
11:59 p.m., 700 block Front St.- Someone pulled over to tell a deputy there were loose cows in Kerr County at the airport.
SEPTEMBER 3
2:40 a.m., 100 block Idlewilde Blvd.- A house caught fire in Comfort. No major injuries were reported, and the fire was under control by about 3:30 a.m.
9:18 a.m., Front Street and Waring Welfare Road- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
1:15 p.m., 1000 block Hwy 87- A resident was concerned about a large amount of smoke coming from a location across the Hidden Springs Subdivision. Deputies checked it out and found a man on a tractor burning a small pile of brush.
2:59 p.m., Eagle Drive and Tapatio- A man spent the night in his vehicle after it broke down, and he said he felt unsafe after individuals carrying guns flashed lights into his vehicle.
4:23 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- A man gearing up to buy a used power washer wanted to make sure it wasn’t stolen.
9:17 p.m., 100 block Edge Falls Rd.- A couple guys driving a white truck were shooting deer from the window of their moving vehicle.
10:46 p.m., 43 Hwy 87 N.- Deputies checked on a semitruck that someone reported was in a ditch, but a language barrier kept deputies from understanding whether the driver needed help or not.
SEPTEMBER 4
2:38 a.m., 400 block N. Walnut Way- A man was tired of his neighbor’s dog, which was chained to a tree outside, whining and crying.
4:32 a.m., 100 block Independence- A man said his girlfriend was drunk and hitting him, and he felt uncomfortable going home with her where their 2-year- old son was.
12:46 p.m., 539 MM I-10 W.- A large, brown dog was weaving in and out of the interstate.
1:21 p.m., 400 block N. Walnut Way- The president of the homeowners’ association reported a bog for barking all night.
1:29 p.m., 100 block FM 3351 S.- A woman accused her husband of putting a hit out on her.
3:58 p.m., 100 block Oak View Dr.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop.
6:14 p.m., 10250 block Johns Rd.- A vehicle was left blocking a driveway, but the owner moved it before a tow truck arrived.
6:30 p.m. 605 Third St.- A teacher was locked out of her classroom and wanted to know if a deputy could help her get back in.
9:32 p.m., 1307 River Rd.- A woman noticed her sideview mirror was knocked off after she saw the truck that was parked in front of her speed off.
11:13 p.m., 100 block Daniel Dr.- A woman reported, noting it was all second-hand information, that her brother was being chased around his house by his girlfriend who had a gun.
SEPTEMBER 5
12:56 a.m., 600 block Faltin St.- A resident heard a loud explosion in the area and reported smelling smoke, but no serious incident was identified in the report.
2:52 a.m., 530 MM I-10 W.Deputies attempted to stop a Dodge Ram seen swerving on the interstate, driving between two lanes and almost running completely off the road.
5:06 p.m., 7400 block FM 1888A man reported his daughter as throwing up, but her mother refused to wait for her to feel better before demanding he driver the girl to her. The father accused the mother of being drunk. He called back later to let deputies know she was definitely drunk.
9:28 p.m., 100 block Ulmus Rd.An 18-year-old man assaulted a minor and slahed the tires of a nearby vehicle.
