Bee-ing the best

The Boerne Independent School District recently conducted its 2022 Spanish Spelling Bee for elementary and middle school students. Kendall Elementary fifth-grader Bailey Martin, pictured above left with her parents, Kasey and John Martin, took first place in the elementary division. Estrella Castro, a sixth-grader at Boerne Middle School North, pictured below left with her father, Jose Castro, earned top honors in the middle school division.
