Old Jail Museum Tours, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.,  the Old Jail Museum, 208 E. San Antonio Ave.

The Kendall County Historic Jail was constructed in 1887 and served for a century as the county jail. In recent years, the Friends of the Kendall County Historic Jail has restored the space, bringing it back to life as a one-of-a-kind museum of Kendall County history. 

• Art in Conservation: Watercolor, 10 a.m.-noon. Join international artists Jeannette MacDougall or Rebecca Burritt in a watercolor class where you learn to paint with the practice of the basic techniques of glazing, wet-in-wet, dry brush and more. This class is hosted inside or outside the Herff House and is offered every Saturday. Learn more at www.cibolo.org

Bluegrass Jam at The AgriCultural, 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.,  The AgriCultural Museum, 102 City Park Road.

Every second and fourth Saturdays of the month, bring your instrument and play along, or just come to listen to the Bluegrass Jam at The AgriCultural! (Formerly the Agricultural Heritage Museum) This event is free and open to the public.

• Cibolo Center for Conservation Moondance Outdoor Concert, 7 p.m., Nature Center, 140 City Park Road. The Cibolo presents the 2022 season of the Moondance Concert Series. The final show of the season features the Carbonlily Trio. Its laid-back vibe will wrap up the Cibolo's annual concert series. Join in on the fun under the live oaks with your coolers, chairs, and friends. Food trucks will be onsite. Cost is $15 for nonmembers, $10 for members and $5 for students ages 12-15.

Boerne Market Days, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Main Plaza. Since 1850, Main Plaza has been a center point of trade for the people of Boerne. In the present day, on the second weekend of every month, Main Plaza is home to a magical outdoor market that blends the traditions of the Texas Hill Country with the creations of today’s culture. Hundreds of festive booths display everything from collectibles and remembrances of the past to modern innovations that will bring a smile of wonder to those who stroll past.

• 9/11 ceremony by the Boerne American Legion Post 313 and the Boerne VFW Post 688, 10 a.m. at Veterans Plaza. The event also will feature a tribute to POWs and MIAs. This year marks the 21st anniversary of 9/11.
