• Boerne Market Days, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Main Plaza. Since 1850, Main Plaza has been a center point of trade for the people of Boerne. In the present day, on the second weekend of every month, Main Plaza is home to a magical outdoor market that blends the traditions of the Texas Hill Country with the creations of today’s culture. Hundreds of festive booths display everything from collectibles and remembrances of the past to modern innovations that will bring a smile of wonder to those who stroll past.
• Old Jail Museum Tours, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., the Old Jail Museum, 208 E. San Antonio Ave.
The Kendall County Historic Jail was constructed in 1887 and served for a century as the county jail. In recent years, the Friends of the Kendall County Historic Jail has restored the space, bringing it back to life as a one-of-a-kind museum of Kendall County history.
• Art in Conservation: Watercolor, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Join international artists Jeannette MacDougall or Rebecca Burritt in watercolor class where you learn to paint with the practice of the basic techniques; glazing, wet-in-wet, dry brush, and more. Every second and fourth Saturdays of the month, bring your instrument and play along, or just come to listen to the Bluegrass Jam at The AgriCultural! (Formerly the Agricultural Heritage Museum) This event is free and open to the public.

• Cibolo Center for Conservation Moondance Outdoor Concert, 7 p.m., Nature Center, 140 City Park Road. The Cibolo presents the 2022 season of the Moondance Concert Series. The final show of the season features the Carbonlily Trio. Its laid-back vibe will wrap up the Cibolo's annual concert series. Join in on the fun under the live oaks with your coolers, chairs, and friends. Food trucks will be onsite. Cost is $15 for nonmembers, $10 for members and $5 for students ages 12-15.

Take a tour around the Kuhlmann- King property to step back in time. Experience and explore how a Boerne family would have lived in the late 1800s. Keep an eye out for different educational programs each month.

• 9/11 ceremony by the Boerne American Legion Post 313 and the Boerne VFW Post 688, 10 a.m. at Veterans Plaza. The event also will feature a tribute to POWs and MIAs. This year marks the 21st anniversary of 9/11.

• Mushroom Kits – Teaching Barn at Herff Farm, 10-11:30 a.m. Join Louis San Miguel of Mycobuddy as we learn the basics of home mushroom cultivation. We will learn about mushrooms' biology, their role in our ecosystem, and how to grow these low-maintenance and tasty fungi right from the comfort of your home. • George W. Kendall Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will be hosting a public reading of the U.S. Constitution at 10 a.m. at Veterans Plaza in Boerne. The public is invited to attend as the document will be read, uninterrupted, by a series of readers including community leaders and dignitaries. Joining the DAR are the Sons of the American Revolution Boerne Chapter, the Boerne Middle School Fife and Drum Corps, Boerne Champion High School choir, VFW Post 688 and the Champion High School ROTC cadets.
• Boerne Retailers Style Show and Pop-Up Show, 6-9 p.m., The Bevy Hotel, 101 Herff Road. Event benefits the Kendall County Women's Shelter. The cocktail hour and shopping begins at 6 p.m. with the show following at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Kendall County Women’s Shelter.

• Music in the Cave – Dall Equinox, 7 p.m., Cave Without a Name, 325 Kreutzberg Road. Enjoy an eclectic blend of contemporary acoustic songs, soaring vocals, dynamic instrumentation, and improvisation celebrating the Fall Equinox with Rudi and the Rudiments. With a thematic focus on the balance of darkness and light marked by the first day of Autumn, part of the concert will be performed in total darkness and flickering candlelight, providing a truly memorable experience!

Naomi Shihab Nye, Lucy Griffith and Suzanne Ohlmann. Sponsored by the Cibolo Conservancy Land Trust, events will begin at sundown in the Herff Farm’s Will Smith Amphitheater and historic barn.
