Geneva School of Boerne hosted 16 teams and held 92 volleyball matches in two days last weekend at its Tourney in Boerne.
Geneva went 5-2 at the event after beating FEAST, Providence, Bracken, Trinity Valley and High Island. The Eagles dropped matches to John Paul II and Lubbock Trinity Christian.
“It was a wonderful weekend full of competitive ball getting us ready for district play,” Geneva head coach Shelly Vaughn said. “We’re grateful for all the teams that attended, from as far as Ft. Worth and Lubbock.”
Ella Babic and Karynn Garrow were named to the all-tournament team for Geneva.
The Eagles played Keystone Tuesday and then hosted Comfort on Friday, 5 p.m.

Keystone won Tuesday’s match at Keystone over Geneva, 25-22, 25-17, 14-25, 25-20. The Eagles drop to 12-12 on the year.
Karynn Garrow led the Eagles with 19 kills, 14 digs and 4 aces, Ella Owens finished with 34 assists and 4 aces, Ella Babic tallied 11 digs and 7 kills, Avery Eggerss had 15 digs, while Kenzie Cates came up with 5 digs.
