The Boerne High girls soccer squad played in its final tournament of the regular season after they were entered in the Governor’s Cup tourney in the Austin area.
BHS went 1-1-1 at the event and is 7-2-2 overall. The Lady Greyhounds closed out non-district action and will kick off 26-4A play Tuesday when they host Fredericksburg.
At the tourney, Boerne’s loss came to Princeton, 3-1. Boerne’s lone goal came from Kylie Combs on the assist from Gigi Hernandez.
