Kyle Elliott Morris passed away surrounded by his wife and sons on August 20, 2022, at the age of 67. He was born February 6, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas, to Leo Anthony Morris and Gladys Faye (Kyle) Morris.
Kyle graduated from Holmes High School in 1973. He started his lifelong trade in autobody repair as a teenager working at Morris Body Shop, owned by his parents.
In those early years, his passion for motorcycles began and continued throughout his life. He was an avid rider and owned many different bikes including his prized restoration of a 1939 Indian Chief given to him by a dear family friend. In 1976, he married Melissa, his wife and best friend, with whom he built a happy life.
Kyle enjoyed going to the coast, camping in his vintage VW bus, riding his motorcycle and especially looked forward to the summer months when he could go catfishing with his “fishing buddy” Mike. He also enjoyed the numerous trips taken with longtime friends, Rick and Sherry.
Kyle could fix or repair anything and taught his boys to do the same. He was always ready to help a neighbor, friend or family member. Blitz, his beloved dog, kept him company when he retired and was constantly spoiled by him.
Kyle was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Faye Morris; and brother Michael Morris. He is survived by his wife, Melissa; son Wesley K. Morris; son Cody L. Morris and wife, Brigitte; grandson Leo Neal Morris; and brother Scott L. Morris.
His wit and his smile will be missed dearly but our memories will keep him close and our love we have for him will see us through.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home.
