Both area Boerne ISD team tennis programs were in action last week and picked up wins.

The Chargers opened up district play last week and traveled to Veterans Memorial where the Chargers picked up an 18-1 win over the Patriots.

Boerne High was at home and hosted 6A Smithson Valley at the Greyhound courts last week. The Hounds were too much for the Rangers and won the match, 12-7.

Champion improves to 3-2 this year and 1-0 in district. The Chargers were scheduled to host Northside Brennan last Friday but that match was cancelled due to the weather. Champion was also scheduled to host Wimberley this week.

Boerne High improved to 3-2 as well and was scheduled to play at Clemens on Tuesday of this week.
