LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. August 1
4:08 a.m., 1300 block River Rd.- A man heard a woman yelling behind the Sinus Center from a block away.
9:06 a.m., 31205 I-10 W.- A man said he surrendered his vehicle to Toyota of Boerne. Now, he said the dealership couldn’t find the vehicle and wasn’t calling him back. A financial staffer at the businesses told him to file a theft report.
10:59 a.m., 35000 I-10 W.- An individual reported an assault that occurred in 2019.
11:26 a.m., 400 block W. Bandera Rd.- A woman reported vehicles speed down Bandera Road on the stretch between Main Street and the interstate.
11:40 p.m., 916 River Rd.- A man discovered a bullet hole in a business window.
7:35 p.m., 1369 S. Main St.- A woman tracked her phone that went missing and saw it was moving down Main Street. She managed to find the person who had it, and they gave it back to her.
8:33 p.m., 435 W. Bandera Rd.- A man and woman were arrested and taken for a blood draw after they bought a gas can at the service station, and the employee reported to officers they were stumbling and had slurred speech.
August 2
6:13 a.m., 543 MM I-10 W.- An 18-wheeler caught fire which led to a small grass fire. The incident was under control less than 20 minutes later.
7:46 a.m., 600 block N. Main St.- A woman was heard yelling and seen talking to bricks.
10:28 p.m., 700 block Oak Park Dr.- A man reported his motorcycle was stolen sometime in the previous two weeks.
3:31 p.m., Main Street and Rosewood Avenue- A woman was hit by a vehicle on Main Street. She was conscious and breathing after someone helped her move off the road.
4:39 p.m., 100 block Newton Alley- An individual was suspicious of man who had been hanging out in the area all day, noting he didn’t seem dangerous but “something seemed off.”
10:15 p.m., 1381 S. Main St.- A refrigerator was stolen off a man’s trailer.

August 1
6:43 a.m., Hwy 87 and I-10- A man was throwing items at cars as they went under the overpass.
8:19 a.m., Staudt Street- A mother said the family of a runaway were harassing her daughter and threatening her because the daughter gave the runaway a ride to an apartment complex.
11:54 a.m., 580 Sunflower- A woman requested a homeless man be removed from the property and issued a trespass warning.
1:17 p.m., 2400 block FM 1376- Gillespie County deputies asked local deputies to keep an eye out for a subject who robbed a Walmart. Llano County deputies located the man and reported shots fired as they tried to apprehend him.
2:57 p.m., 200 block Friendship Dr.- A woman pulled a 3-year-old girl out of water, where she said the child may have been for a few minutes. The young girl was breathing but wouldn’t wake up.
August 2
12:26 a.m., 300 block Los Indios Ranch Rd.- A woman had been living on the property for a month without permission. However, after some questioning, the property owner said the woman had permission to stay there for three weeks, but they now wanted her gone. A deputy explained the woman had now established residency, so the property owner needed to file eviction paperwork.
7:50 a.m., 200 block Hwy 27- An injured owl found its way into a woman’s front guest house.
8:32 a.m., 10 block FM 1621- A woman was upset the person who owned the property her trailer was on disconnected her electricity, demanding payment, because she said it wasn’t due for another couple of weeks. She was directed to a justice of the peace’s office.
1:09 p.m., 100 block Milagro- A man going through a divorce was concerned when he found an Apple AirTag on his father’s car that neither he nor his father placed on the vehicle.
2:23 p.m., Kendalia- A sexual assault was reported.
9:13 p.m., 100 block August Lane- A woman was frightened by a shirtless man in shorts or boxers in her driveway starting at her and her daughter. When she asked the man what he needed, he licked his lips and groaned. She shut her door, and he walked away. However, she said he’d been exhibiting strange behavior frequently.
