The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. July 20
2:10 a.m., 135 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman noticed her vehicle was missing, noting she’d last seen it at 7 p.m.
3:47 a.m., 35000 block I-10 W.- A hotel employee asked officers to patrol the area she reported hearing what she though could be gunshots.
8:29 a.m., 145 Old San Antonio Rd.- Another car was reported stolen along with a work phone, and theater staff would only send the security footage they had to officers.
10:59 a.m., 100 City Lake- Men were seen taking photos of children at lake.
11:18 a.m., 125 Crosspoint- A woman reported her ex-boyfriend assaulted her before leaving the apartment. He showed up around an hour later to return her car, but he refused to leave her apartment complex after.
3:07 p.m., 111 Industrial- A woman said she often notices a lot of syringes in the area in the early hours of the morning.
6:09 p.m., 119 W. Highland- A woman let her ex-boyfriend stay the night at her apartment, and he stole property on his way out.
7:58 p.m., 100 block Birdsong- A woman claiming to be a family friend called officers saying she thought a runaway showed up at her home.
July 21
8:34 a.m., 100 block Dietert- Dispatchers couldn’t understand if a woman was saying her dog blue or her tongue was blue. They sent emergency services in case it was her tongue.
8:59 a.m., 441 W. Bandera Rd.- Two individuals were taken into custody while serving a warrant.
10:20 a.m., 600 block S. School St.- A man’s game camera and box of outdoor cooking utensils were stolen from his backyard.
5:52 p.m., 942 N. Main St.- A man in his 20s was caught by officers after fleeing the store with a pack of beer.
8:49 p.m., Christus Parkway and Herff Road- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
July 22
10:59 a.m., 35065 I-10 W.- Someone accused the woman often panhandling outside Starbucks of walking into the tree line, peeing and throwing toilet paper on the ground. The woman said she didn’t do, and it ended there.
1:20 p.m., 111 Industrial- The community mailboxes were broken into.
4:50 p.m., 34935 I-10 W.- A Hampton Inn employee reported a woman who checked out that morning for hanging out in the lobby all day with nowhere to go.
5:05 p.m., 518 E. Blanco Rd.- A man was concerned about people pressure washing grease traps into storm drains.
6:04 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.- H-E-B employees caught a shoplifter and him held in an office near the business center.
8:16 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.- A man said he was an assaulted by an H-E-B employee earlier that night. He said the two got into a verbal disagreement when the manager shoved him and tried to start a physical fight.
8:40 p.m., 100 block Willowbrook- A tortoise made a run for it and was almost successful, but a woman spotted its jailbreak. Officers helped return the rebellious reptile.
July 23
12:25 a.m., 128 W. Blanco Rd.- A man reported a woman with six kids was making a lot of noise in their room at The Kendall.
3:53 p.m., 200 block Ebner- A woman reported a white Mustang or Charger and a blue Honda were racing up and down the street.
6:01 p.m., 153 S. Main St.- A Richter employee reported two men were making threatening comments at the business, and the employee suspected the men brough a gun into the business.
6:25 p.m., 633 W. Bandera Rd.- A woman was asleep in her vehicle with two children. When a man approached her vehicle, he said she sped off toward Whataburger after responding to him with slurred speech.
July 24
12:13 a.m., 31445 I-10 E.- Two women were arrested during a traffic stop.
5:10 a.m., 600 block Irons St.- A resident reported an 18-year-old man took OxyContin and drank alcohol.
7:18 p.m., 106 City Park- A woman was locked inside the Boerne pool area and needed officers’ assistance.
10:56 p.m., 100 block Juniper Lane- A woman reported having issues with her cousin who she said told her he wanted to hold her hand and pretend the two were a couple. Officers advised she tell her cousin she didn’t want to be touched and report him if the behavior continued.
July 25
2:29 a.m., 35000 I-10 W.- A man was arrested at Taco Cabana and another woman was treated for an anxiety attack after they were reported for being drunk in the business center of the Comfort Inn & Suites.
2:48 p.m., 31445 I-10 W.- Two employee vehicles at Caliber Collision were reported as being burglarized that morning.
8:43 p.m., 1 Main Plaza- A woman reported kids were at the square acting “weird” with stuff lying all over the place.
July 26
9:25 a.m., 36700 block I-10 W.- Boerne police were notified of a call to San Antonio officers. Two men had shot at each other, but neither was hit. One of the parties had been arrested. The other man was now saying he was stuck in a trailer on the interstate.
1:58 p.m., 200 block Maxwell- A father called officers suspecting his daughter who was taken to a San Antonio hospital was drugged by soon-to-be-ex-husband.
2:51 p.m., 924 N. Main St.- A woman said a man claiming to be from Dubai blocked her vehicle in before approaching her offering to sell her a ring for “something.”
2:56 p.m., 100 block Hampton Bend- A woman said her ex-husband grabbed and pushed her forcefully and damaged her phone. He was arrested a couple hours later.
11:52 p.m., 545 MM I-10 W.- A driver was made to perform a field sobriety test after officers caught up to the subject of a call claiming a black Honda Civic was unable to maintain lanes.
July 27
6:07 a.m., 539 MM I-10 E.- A man reported a man for riding his bike on the interstate without a shirt. About 40 minutes later, a shirtless man riding a bike went into a gas station and took a bird feed bag and created a makeshift shirt. He also took orange juice, chips and candy.
11:43 a.m., 451 N. Main St.- A customer found two laptops at Walmart and dropped them off at the library.
4:14 p.m., 4 Staudt St.- A woman tested positive for alcohol and meth during a drug screening at the adult probation office. County staff had an arrest warrant signed and had her taken into custody.
5:22 p.m., 600 block Menger Springs- A woman said her 14-year-old son sent an inappropriate photo and was now being extorted for money.
8:33 p.m., 100 block Benton- A couple of residents in the area reported hearing a set of 15 to 20 gunshots before a pause and several more rounds. Officers were unable to locate the source of the complaint.
11:11 p.m., 100 block Deerwood Oaks- A father reported his 17-year-old daughter was at a home in the area, and he wanted information on having her vehicle towed from the home.
July 28
9:07 a.m., 200 block Well Springs- A woman accused someone of tampering with her irrigation system, saying she had it set to water once a week but found the lines cut and the settings changed to water once a day.
11:43 a.m., 600 block Rosewood Ave.- Adult protective services found a bag of marijuana on a probationer’s table during a home visit.
2:21 p.m., 1102 River Rd.- An employee at Riverview Nursing & Rehab said a patient was drunk and being verbally belligerent.
2:47 p.m., 150 Medical Dr.- A woman reported her ex-husband’s new wife was harassing her via text and social media.
5:55 p.m., 134 Menger Springs- An 18-year-old man arrived at the Methodist Emergency Room with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the hand, but he was evasive with staff when asked about how it happened. Officers found his residence in Bexar County and transferred the case to deputies in Bexar.
8:49 p.m., 100 block Rolling Creek- Two vehicles passed in the night, flipping each other off. A woman then saw the other vehicle pass her on a different street, flipping her off again and showing a handgun.
9:53 p.m., 1381 S. Main St.- A woman was arrested during a traffic stop.
July 29
1:25 a.m., 537 MM I-10 W.- Four passengers in a Nissan Versa had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance after an accident that may have also involved a tractor trailer.
9:15 a.m., 135 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman wanted to know how to get a restraining order against her ex-daughter-in-law whom she said was harassing her.
11:19 a.m., 400 block Johns Rd.- A 22-year-old woman got locked out of her home. She broke a window to get back in, but she cut her arm and leg in her attempt.
3:20 p.m., 1016 N. Main St.- A woman was beating her Pitbull, and she became aggressive with anyone who attempted to stop her.
5:09 p.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Rd.- A man was seen laying down with his bike in the area. Officers located the man who was fine and was taking a rest.
9:09 p.m., Charger Boulevard and River Road- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
July 30
12:15 a.m., River Road and Charger Boulevard- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
7:02 a.m., 546 MM I-10 E.- Bexar county officers sought Boerne assistance for an accident on the interstate that shut down an inside lane and resulted in some kind of injury.
12:17 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.- A man came into the lobby of H-E-B to drop off a bag of prescription medication that fell off someone’s car.
1:36 p.m., River Road and Charger Boulevard- A woman’s friend was arrested the night before, and she called officers to let them know the drugs were not her friend’s. She said she knew who the drugs belonged to.
4:23 p.m., 100 City Lake- A city employee reported a group of teenagers were climbing on a spillway and jumping off even after being told to stop.
7:11 p.m., 522 MM I-10 E.- A man fled his vehicle officers were attempting to detain for Kerr County officers. He fled his pickup truck and disappeared into brush by a local power plant. The man was successfully detained by 7:56 p.m.
10:27 p.m., 1010 River Rd.- The apartment manager reported about 15 to 20 people drinking by dumpsters at the back of the complex, speculating they may be underage. Officers located the group who were all of legal drinking age but told the group to lower the music.
11:14 p.m., 543 MM I-10 E.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
11:26 p.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop.
July 31
2:16 a.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman traced her phone to this location after her husband was arrested and booked into the Kendall County jail.
5:46 a.m., 1381 S. Main St.- A 45-year-old bakery employee passed out.
1:30 p.m., 6 Cascade Caverns- A hotel guest reported someone tried to steal their vehicle overnight.
3:37 p.m., 110 Bluebonnet- A woman reported her sister’s ex-partner drove up, stared at them and then sped away.
6:34 p.m., 100 City Lake- Eight women were seen fighting at the lake, resulting in one woman suffering from bumps and scratches on her face.
7:41 p.m., Women’s Shelter- A mother reported her 8-year-old son began acting out after he touched a little girl inappropriately. Officers gave her advice on how to manage her son when he throws a temper tantrum.
8:50 p.m., 200 block Michelle- A woman was fed up with her neighbors, saying their TV was too loud and they shot a BB gun toward her property.
11:31 p.m., 539 MM I-10 W.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop.
KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
July 20
6:16 a.m., 1100 block Hwy 87- An off-duty Gillespie County deputy reported a motorcycle rider for speeding.
9:21 a.m., 300 block FM 1376- A horse and a donkey traveled together on opposite sides of the road.
10:27 a.m., 100 block Alamosa Way- A woman said stray rounds from a nearby shooting club were hitting her house.
12:12 p.m., 100 block Ranch Dr.- An off-duty deputy reported someone for being in the area. The subject worked at a business at Cascade Caverns and Old Fredericksburg roads. There’s no shade in the area they work, so they go that area during a break to get away from the heat.
July 21
4:06 a.m., 1200 block Brighton- A man, who a deputy said sounded drunk, called asking about an assault on a child but had no identifying information on the victim, subject or incident.
8:59 a.m., 441 W. Bandera Rd.- Two individuals were taken into custody and at least one was arrested at the gas station when deputies served an arrest warrant.
5:52 p.m., 942 N. Main St.- Deputies caught up with a man who stole a pack of beer and drove off. He didn’t stop for deputies at first, but they were able to detain him.
9:54 p.m., 100 block Hillview- A man was assaulted by a family friend’s son because he texted the subject’s girlfriend.
11:23 p.m., 40 block Scenic Loop Rd.- A man blocked in one of two individuals he found on the property, saying he wanted them charged with theft. His sister, the owner of the property, let deputies know she hired to the two individuals to do work.
July 22
12:50 a.m., 250 block River Forest Dr.- A woman tried to retrieve items from a home in the area, including her cat, but a seemingly drunk homeowner threatened her.
7:56 a.m., North Creek Loop and I-10- A woman was concerned about a small dog left in a crate with a bag of food.
10:48 a.m., 135 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman reported perjury in the 451st District Court.
1:24 p.m., 100 block North View Dr.- A young girl messing with her parent’s phone dialed 911.
4:04 p.m., 200 block Woodland Blvd.- A woman reported her neighbor was harassing her and yelling at them because he didn’t like them driving by with their windows down.
7:36 p.m., 37100 I-10 W.- A man reported his ex-wife turned his phone off, which upset him because he paid for it.
July 23
2:45 a.m., 543 MM I-10 W.- A man was arrested after a woman reported an accident.
6:20 a.m., 200 block River Forest Dr.- A man called 911 when his brother left him bleeding from the leg after shooting him a BB gun.
9:27 a.m., 600 block FM 473- Five or six cows took to the streets.
10:13 a.m., 200 block Sky View Dr.- A woman reported her neighbor for walking on her property and reaching into her truck, but she didn’t think he took anything.
11:17 a.m., 100 block Flat Rock Creek Rd.- A woman reported her uncle was attempting to take her father’s property, who had died. The property belonged to the uncle, and she had been handed an eviction notice. The woman said the property belonged to her two uncles and father, and she received her father’s portion when he passed.
7:16 p.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Rd.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop.
9:09 p.m., 300 block Hwy 46 W.- A 13-year-old girl attempted to stab a staff member with a pair of sharp eyeglasses.
July 24
1:21 a.m., 400 block Hwy 46 E.- A vehicle stopped on the highway. Deputies found the driver shaking and confused with cotton mouth, so they transported him to the hospital for a blood draw.
9:57 a.m., 100 block Old Fredericksburg Rd.- A man lost 16 goats sometime in the night.
12:54 p.m., 39800 block I-10 W.- A woman reported a strange truck parked outside her house, and a man was out yelling at the driver of the truck.
1:50 p.m., 200 block FM 3351 S.- A man was arrested after several motorcycles without license plates were spotted.
6:03 p.m., 90 block September Lane- A woman requested extra patrols at night after she showed deputies a video of a stranger knocking on her door and leaving. A deputy did not the man was behaving strangely.
8:19 p.m., 200 block Hwy 87 N.- A 15-year-old girl said he 50-year-old father, who she noted had a history of using meth, assaulted her the week prior, causing injuries to her thigh and leg. She said she lives alone at a home in the area, and her father will feed her and then leave her alone.
July 25
12:10 a.m., Pleasant Valley Drive and Hwy 46- A man reported a man walking on the highway in all black. The resident liked to walk at night and was on the way to visit a friend nearby.
5:05 a.m., 100 block N. Stonegate- A resident reported a man for sitting on a bag in a drainage ditch, saying he didn’t appear to “belong in the area.” Deputies observed no criminal activity.
11:14 a.m., 100 block Anacacho- A few days prior someone broke a man’s door frame and front siding and stole a $4,000, 6-foot-by-8-foot double iron door.
12:28 p.m., Comfort- A sexual assault of a child was reported in town.
July 26
6:15 a.m., 8 Staudt St.- A man turned himself at the Kendall County jail.
9:51 a.m., 615 Faltin St.- A woman was yelling down the hall and causing a disturbance.
2:15 p.m., 545 MM I-10 W.- A motorcycle was seen speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.
4:10 p.m., Boerne- A sexual assault was reported at the sheriff’s office.
10:37 p.m., 60 block Upper Balcones Rd.- A young woman left her phone at Tapatio Springs, and her mother found the phone pinging to a location in the area. She asked for deputy assistance trying to retrieve the device, saying the back door to the business was wide open but no employees could be seen.
July 27
2:04 a.m., 40 block Hwy 87 N.- A truck driver took someone’s spot and refused to move. A deputy asked the driver to leave the property, and he complied.
11:52 a.m., Carolyn Lane- A 3-year-old boy stopped breathing and required CPR. AirLife was called and landed nearby to transport the child to University Hospital.
12:02 p.m., Cascade Caverns Road and Scheele roads- AirLife was called after a young man was hit by a trash truck, leaving him bleeding heavily when his arm was torn off.
2:27 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- A woman called deputies to ensure a man with the same last name was not released from the Bexar County jail but transported to the local jail facility. Deputies assured her he was being transported to the Kendall County jail.
3:03 p.m., 100 block Oak Acres Lane- A man who lived several hours away reported a 17-year-old girl in the area was sending inappropriate photos to people and being sexually assaulted by her siblings. However, deputies determined the caller was a former boyfriend of the young woman and had no credibility.
4:19 p.m., 900 block FM 1376- About 50 goats were psyching out cars that passed by, approaching the road but not crossing it.
July 29
6:29 a.m., 100 block Delaware Creek Rd.- A man reported his Dodge Ram with several Texas-themed stickers slapped on it was stolen.
7:15 a.m., 1200 block FM 1376- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
11:53 a.m., 300 block Deer Rd.- A deal between neighbors to buy a shed got dicey when the seller began requesting an additional $1,500 after the deal was done. The shed had already been moved and signed over into the buyer’s name.
1:40 p.m., 600 block Fifth St.- Two kids – one 8-month-old and one 3-year-old – got accidentally locked in a running car. Deputies and good Samaritans were able to get the kids out without damaging the vehicle.
11:18 p.m., 100 block Post Oak Circle- A woman reported loud music from a neighbor. Deputies found a party with a live band set to play, but the party was set to end by midnight.
July 30
6:03 a.m., 100 block Live Oak St.- A man reported two people were outside arguing, but deputies couldn’t locate anyone when patrolling the area about 20 minutes later.
9:22 a.m., 50 block Old Fredericksburg Rd.- A man reported his Ford Raptor was stolen and suspected it was his taken by his children’s caretaker.
1:40 p.m., 100 block N. Wagon Wheel Dr.- A man wanted to know if he could pump gas directly into a vehicle with antique plates.
4:36 p.m., 580 Sunflower- A mother reported secondhand information about a disturbance between her daughter and a 19-year-old man, saying he has threatened her daughter in the past. She said he damaged a tire on the daughter’s vehicle.
6:58 p.m., 33500 block I-10 W.- Deputies gave up a pursuit down the interstate when the fleeing suspect hit 140 miles per hour. Deputies acknowledged they wouldn’t be able to catch him.
9:52 p.m., 36900 block I-10 W.- A man reported two subjects were trespassing on property when nobody should be there. It was a couple of teenagers crossing the property to walk to Valero, and all was deemed fine.
July 31
6:16 a.m., 200 block Friendship- A chaotic effort to locate a woman’s 15-year-old daughter who left home at 9:50 p.m. the night before turned into a multicounty unit and checking several apartments. In the end, the daughter and the boy she was with appear to have been located.
10:23 a.m., 100 block Riverwood- A man returned home after being away for three weeks to find a window screen cut, but nothing appeared to missing or damaged. The culprit turned out to be a bird that attacked its own reflection, according to a deputy investigation.
8:22 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- A man who called deputies frequently was upset an investigation was never done into his claim someone threw an axe at him.
11:31 p.m., 539 MM I-10 W.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop.
