LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

June 28

5:37 a.m., 539 MM I-10 W.- A woman reported her husband was hit by another vehicle on the interstate, and the other driver was trying to leave the scene.

8:18 a.m., 1500 block River Rd.- Two men were seen arguing and getting in each other’s faces in the middle turn lane.

9:13 p.m., 100 block Red Bud- A man heard a woman screaming for help and heard someone banging on doors.

10:44 p.m., 300 block Bentwood- A woman said her nephew was involved in an incident in Guadalupe County, and she was concerned he would then try to go to her mother’s house. She said he was homeless and dangerous.

June 29

1:11 a.m., 200 block W. Bandera Rd.-A woman was arrested during a traffic stop.

10:23 a.m., 1100 block River Rd.- A woman was concerned about someone trying to sell a vehicle in front of the nursing home because she believed they were doing it on private property.

10:26 a.m., 214 W. Bandera Rd.- A woman was concerned about a 12-yearold boy who ran across the busy road, noting he looked very confused.

5:21 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.- An employee at the business center reported a clip with several rounds were turned in. A couple hours later, a man reported losing a clip and ammo in the bathroom at H-E-B. He picked it up from the police department later that day.

6:45 p.m., 100 block Cimarron Creek-An anonymous caller reported a man was smoking marijuana and disturbing tenants at the pool.

June 30

12:28 a.m., 201 E. San Antonio Ave.- A back entrance to the courthouse was set on fire.

7:43 a.m., 700 block W. San Antonio Ave.- A woman reported a tree branch was laying across power lines, causing them to hang down.

11:12 a.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A sexual assault was reported in town.

1:04 p.m., 1223 S. Main St.- A man was upset Walgreens employees wouldn’t release a package to him FedEx delivered there.

2:39 p.m., 541 MM I-10 W.- An individual was arrested after a woman was swerving and flipped her SUV after hitting a barricade.

8:49 p.m., 100 block Rolling Creek- A woman reported her ex-husband took her garage door opener and refused togive it back. She asked officers go with her to retrieve it from him.

July 1

5:29 a.m., 1351 S. Main St.- A woman was suspicious of a vehicle stopped in a throughway in the parking lot in front of Planet Fitness. They had run out of gas.

8:49 a.m., 135 Old San Antonio Rd.- A black Toyota Highlander was reported stolen from the apartment complex sometime overnight.

8:53 a.m., 1201 S. Main St.- A man tried to enter a doctor’s office with no pants on before going back to his vehicle and driving away.

1:46 p.m., 35000 I-10 W.- A guest refused to check out of the Comfort Inn & Suites, and they “got in the manager’s face”over the issue.

3:56 p.m., 1379 S. Main St.- A woman called 911, yelled about someone not moving their vehicle and hung up.

9:51 p.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A sexual assault was reported to officers at the police station.

July 2

12:15 a.m., 100 block Dovetail St.- A man was arrested after he got drunk and allegedly hit both his wife and daughter. 12:21 a.m., 200 block Krieg- Noises outside a woman’s window left her suspecting a prowler was in the area, but officers identified the culprit as a “large Garfield type cat” outside causing a ruckus outside because it couldn’t climb a fence “due to weight problems.”

7:51 a.m., 100 block Hampton Cove- A 1-year-old child locked themselves in a room, but an officer was able to get the door open a few minutes later.

9:32 a.m., 600 block E. Theissen St.- A resident caught a man who break intotheir home giving their dog treats. The man ran off, and the resident fired a round at them but likely missed.

4:05 p.m., 100 City Lake- The person working the booth at the lake sought officer assistance for a woman yelling at him over a “stolen”parking spot.

4:54 p.m., 170 S. Main St.- A woman reported three teenagers on skateboards for walking into The William and taking items meant for hotel guests.

9:53 p.m., 1000 Diamond- A woman reported a group of people for being loud at the pool after hours seven minutes before it closed.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

June 28

8:37 a.m., 43 Hwy 87 N.- A Love’s Travel Stop employee reported a woman was hanging out of her vehicle and suspected she was on drugs.

10:01 a.m., Highland Woods- A San Antonio police officer reported a sexual assault occurred at an address in Kendalia.

11:01 a.m., 1100 block Hwy 87 S.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop.

5:27 p.m., 533 MM I-10 W.- A man called for assistance after he slid off the interstate and hit a tree. He wasn’t injured, but his car needed to be towed.

11:29 p.m., 32 Hwy 87 N.- A woman called 911 when her boyfriend locked her out of a hotel room. She said he had been drinking.

June 29

9:49 a.m., 518 MM I-10 E.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop and transported to the Kerr County jail.

2:01 p.m., 10 block Dodge Rd.- A lone longhorn roamed the side of the road. Thesteer began weaving on and off the road. 6:46 p.m., Old Fredericksburg Road- A woman left her gun in her ex-boyfriend’s safe after they broke up, and she said he refused to give it back.

9:32 p.m., 532 MM I-10 W- A woman said a man jumped out in front of her vehicle while she was driving, and she almost hit him. Deputies attempted to give the man a courtesy ride, but he refused their help.

June 30

11:25 a.m., 529 MM I-10 E.- A woman reported an 18-wheeler was going 40 miles per hour on the interstate and swerving off the road.

11:41 a.m., 533 MM I-10 W.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop.

5:47 p.m., FM 474 and Spring Creek Road- A white car flipped on its side. There were no injuries reported, but a witness stated an older truck caused the accident.

6:42 p.m., 521 MM I-10 E.- Deputies assisted Kerr County officers who were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle. The two subjects took off on foot once stopped, but they were in custody shortly after 11 p.m. that night.

July 1

9:45 a.m., 900 block Hwy 46 E.- A woman reported damage to her fence, suspecting someone drove through it in the past week.

10:19 a.m., 4 Staudt St.- A man was arrested after showing up for probation.

11:32 a.m., 20 block Jason Rd.- A woman sought help from animal control after shecaught a porcupine.

6:53 p.m., 200 block Mill Dam Rd.- A man’s Costco package was missing, but he wasn’t sure if it was UPS’s or a thief’s fault.

8:35 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- A man called 911 to say he wanted to be in jail rather than the bar he was at. He then promptly hung up the phone.

July 2

12:50 a.m., 30 block Hwy 87 N.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop.

3:30 a.m., 100 block Ulmus Rd.- A man called deputies because someone was going on his property and leaving three rocks. He was concerned it was a death threat.

8:33 a.m., 100 block Maravillas- A man’s tires were slashed in a new constructionarea.4:27 p.m., 580 Sunflower- A father requested deputies standby while he escorted his daughter’s boyfriend out of her apartment after his daughter told him her boyfriend beat her up.

9:32 p.m., Mariposa Parkway- A family friend reported a woman was hitting her husband.

11:11 p.m., 400 block N. Walnut Way- A resident was tired of his neighbors partying all day and being loud. Deputies contacted the culprit and asked them to turn the music down. They said the party was about to end.
