Late last month, Bandera Electric Cooperative donated $2,000 to the Comfort Table and Food Pantry. BEC representatives presented the check to Susan Die, Comfort Table pantry program manager, and Roy Die, board president.

“The donation will help offset the cost of purchasing wholesome food items and operating costs for the nonprofit organization,” the information stated.
“We are thrilled that BEC supports our mission of feeding the needy and helping the community of Comfort,” Susan Die said. “This donation will go to our continuing efforts of stocking the pantry with nutritious food for our participants.”
