Galloway named all-state by Texas Sports Writers

Recent Boerne High School graduate Rashawn Galloway was named to this year’s all-state baseball team by the Texas Sports Writers Association.

Galloway was selected by the TSWA as a second-team all-state catcher for the 2022 season.

Galloway led the Greyhounds at the plate with a .534 batting average. He recorded 63 hits in 118 at bats and his 7 home runs were tops on the BHS team that advanced to the fourth round of the playoffs this past spring.

Galloway will continue his academic and athletic career at Texas State University where he will play baseball. Galloway had originally planned to play both football and baseball with the Bobcats but will now focus solely on baseball.
