LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT
June 19
12:13 a.m., 1200 block S. Main St.- Two individuals were arrested during a traffic stop.
11:05 a.m., 200 block Deer Creek- A woman found blood on her front porch and doorstep, but she didn’t know where, who or what it came from.
5:34 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.- An employee at H-E-B saw a woman steal $244 worth of items and said it was caught on video.
7:09 p.m., 200 block Deer Creek- A man sought assistance when he found a dead opossum in his yard with her babies still alive.
7:31 p.m., 100 block City Lake- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
June 21
8:40 a.m., Staudt Street- A case manager with the women’s shelter reported an assault and threats.
10:17 a.m., 100 City Lake- A man dropped off a watch he found at Boerne lake with officers at the police station.
10:43 a.m., 1381 S. Main St.- A woman was spotted drinking a Bud Light while driving a Ford Explorer.
11:24 a.m., 1300 block S. Main St.- A woman was arrested after a resident reported a homeless woman was stumbling and falling over, going into the street several times.
2:08 p.m., 100 block S. Plant St.- A woman claimed her homeowner’s association treasurer was stealing money from her and water from the city of Boerne.
3:53 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.- A vehicle struck a pedestrian near H-E-B.
8:33 p.m., 1381 S. Main St.- A woman who sleeps in her car reported her key was stolen.
10:33 p.m., 100 block Mesquite- A resident reported a large group of teenagers were consuming alcohol and making noise near his home. Officers investigated and found it was a birthday celebration with adults, and there was no underage drinking.
June 22 9:55 a.m., 100 block Herff Ranch- A woman reported an unmarked delivery vehicle was speeding through the neighborhood, passing vehicles in no-passing zones.
10:56 a.m., 150 Herff Ranch- A minor gas leak was located at Cibolo Creek Veterinary Hospital, but it was handled promptly. All first responders were off the call within about 15 minutes.
12:02 p.m., 33000 I-10 W.- A man said his girlfriend was threatening him and sought assistance returning a weapon he bought for her as a gift.
7:48 p.m., 100 block Industrial Dr.- A air conditioning company manager had to resort to 911 because of an irate customer.
9:34 p.m., 200 block Azalea- A woman requested an officer standby while she collect her belongings, which she said her boyfriend was throwing out of the house. Her boyfriend was on probation for taking her car without her permission.
KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
June 19
12:45 a.m., 1693 River Rd.- A man and woman were arrested after another resident reported the two fighting.
1:47 a.m., 100 block Honeycomb Dr.- A mother called 911 when her 9-year-old son was left outside alone by himself during a slumber party. She picked him up.
10:05 a.m., Winchester and Remington drives- A man on his way to church saw a man and woman lying in a ditch, but he didn’t want to stop to check on them. The two woke up when deputies arrived and were given a courtesy ride to a gas station in Bergheim.
1:47 p.m., 527 MM I-10 E.- A man was arrested after a resident saw him push a woman down.
7:48 p.m., 1050 block FM 1376- About 10 people were advised to leave private property.
9:12 p.m., 300 block S. Esser Rd.- A man was concerned about another man sitting in his car yelling and cussing to himself. He thought the man might be drunk. The man was detained after a field sobriety test, but he was released to a “responsible party.”
June 20
8:46 a.m., 524 MM I-10 E.- A man was concerned about a dog that was dropped off on the side of the interstate.
12:16 p.m., 100 block Upper Balcones Rd.- Someone left a note with their contact information after they ran into a utility pole owned by GVTC.
1:19 p.m., 100 block Wall St.- A woman said her neighbor was yelling at her, saying the lord was going to kill her. The neighbor had a hammer and was hitting it on the ground nearby.
June 22
9:55 a.m., 100 block Herff Ranch- A woman was concerned about a box truck speeding through the neighborhood and passing vehicles in no passing zones.
10:06 a.m., 100 block Matador- An individual needed a reference number for a report of stolen construction materials, including two-by-two and two-by-three windows, in order to get reimbursed.
10:30 a.m., 100 block Wall St.- A neighbor was bothered by a woman yelling the street carrying a bible.
11:35 a.m., 510 MM I-10 E.- A pursuit in Kerr County led into Kendall, leaving deputies throwing spikes to stop the vehicle. An initial spike was unsuccessful as the driver went into the shoulder to avoid the spikes, but a second attempt was successful in stopping the vehicle. However, the passengers fled, sending deputies on a search with drones and by foot. Two bystander vehicles were damaged in the process when a tire from the suspect vehicle struck one vehicle and a pickup truck ran over spikes thrown by deputies.
