A dinner and installation ceremony introduced the Rotary Club of Boerne’s new leadership as Jack Estes, 2022- 23 president; Joe Anzollitto, president elect; and Susie Smith as the vice president.

During last month’s installation dinner, outgoing club President Leigh Owen thanked those who faithfully have served this past year. In addition to the many community service projects, informative speakers and financial support to nonprofits locally and internationally, club members have enjoyed good times and strong fellowship, she said.

Information from the club stated that his year, under Owen’s leadership, the local organization attained “RockStar” status. The recognition came through the South Texas Rotary District 5840 of which the Rotary Club of Boerne is a member. The award is in recognition of the club’s outstanding service to the community, support of the Rotary Foundation’s donations to nonprofit service organizations, creative programs, membership growth and numerous other areas of excellence.
