Boerne resident Brackston Pitts played at the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship at Trump National Doral in Miami.
The international tournament was held July 14-19 and brought together some of the world’s most talented young competitors representing 23 different countries.
Pitts competed in the 12-13-year-old boys age group and finished 68th overall in the field of 82 golfers with a threeday score of 267 with rounds of 94, 89, 84, so he improved by five strokes each day.
