John Buckelew

John Buckelew (Kenneth John Buckelew Jr.), born March 23, 1966, in New Braunfels, Texas, passed away in his home at the age of 56 on Friday, July 8, 2022.

John had a passion for technology, which he made his career for most of his life. His family and friends always referred to him as the "computer whisperer" because there never seemed to be a computer that he couldn't fix.

John was a thrill seeker; he was always up for a scary movie, there was no roller coaster too high or fast, he'd been bungee jumping and even gone skydiving with his kids. He enjoyed playing golf, riding motorcycles, reading and cheering for the Houston Texans on Sundays.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Buckelew Sr. and Carol Motsch; and his sister, Debbie. He is survived by his children, Benjamin (Taylor) and Abbey (Chris); grandsons Reed and Owen; his sisters, Michelle (John) and Carie (Ryan); brother Michael (Sarah); stepfather John (Peggy); stepmother Helen; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
John was known for his strong work ethic and wild sense of humor. He was loved by many, and he will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home at its new location of 1265 N. Main St. in Boerne (between StanBio and Albany). Casual attire is requested by the family.
