The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department, Kendall County Sheriff’s Department and the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence which will be decided in court at a later date. 7:20 a.m., Boerne-Residents reported baggies with antisemitic accusations in them were thrown in driveways around the city.
11:57 a.m., 100 block Cibolo Creek- A father reported a van with a window covered in plywood and a ladder on top followed his daughter while she was walking their dog, parking near their home.
2:23 p.m., 400 block E. Bandera Rd.- A 23-year-old man was reported as unconscious at a home in the area, and his mother suspected it may be due to a drug issue.
4:41 p.m., 121 Old San Antonio Rd.- A 13-year-old student walked off campus, but he was found at his cabin about 10 minutes later.
5 p.m., 700 block Rosewood- A man claiming to be secret special forces trained personnel asked officers to inspect ice chests left on Rosewood Avenue, thinking it could be surveillance equipment. One ice chest had water. The other had cups. There was a sign that read, “Free ice water.” The man called back to complain to a supervisor about the responding officer.
7 p.m., 216 Ivy- A woman walked outside to find her back windshield broken.
8:03 p.m., 900 block River Rd.- A man was arrested after fleeing the scene of a head-on collision with another driver, running toward the apartments that a witness suggested he lived in.
9:13 p.m., 200 block Jordan Place- A man reported his credit card information was hacked and used to buy 22 $100 gift cards.
KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
May 30
9:30 a.m., 100 block Palisades- A woman washed down the nest of a dead bird to find there were babies inside.
6:36 p.m., 51220 I-10 W.- A driver noticed a man was passed out in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle. They noted the tint on the windows was too dark to determine if the man was breathing or not. The man left the area before deputies arrived less than 30 minutes later.
7:19 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- A woman called deputies from San Juan, Puerto Rico, saying she came into contact with a missing 16-year-old girl from Boerne who said she was “on the run from a bad situation.” Deputies told the woman to contact authorities in San Juan.
10:41 p.m., 540 MM I-10 W.- A Spanish-speaking man was arrested after other drivers reported he was driving at 15 miles per hour down the interstate.
