Here’s to beer

Salvador Dobbs played host to a stein holding contest practice session last weekend to give people the opportunity to try their hand at the traditional German-rooted event before September’s Boerne BierFest. Several took advantage of the challenge and participated, including Tony Erb, first photo, who hoisted his stein at arm’s length for 4 minutes and 47 seconds to take top honors.
