The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department, Kendall County Sheriff’s Department and the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT May 25
3:39 a.m., 625 N. Main St.- A man suspected the girl staying across the hall from him was coming into his room and taking his stuff.
8:44 a.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A man wanted to open a business in town, but first he wanted to know if people could walk around with drinks he sold.
11:27 a.m., 1433 S. Main St. #103- A manager at Mike’s Vapor Shop quit a few days before, leaving the computers locked down and inaccessible. An employee suspected it was cyber hacking.
11:30 a.m., 500 block Frey St.- A man snitched on a 10-year-old girl who rides a dirt bike on the street.
3:59 p.m., 200 block Johns Rd.- When a woman’s son got home from school, he said another student sent him pictures of guns and threatened to shoot up the school.
7:31 p.m., 100 block W. Evergreen St.- A man reported two teenage boys for fishing in the river from his backyard. 10:44 p.m., 825 Johns Rd.- Officers in Bexar County asked for help checking on a teenage girl who posted online about killing her stepmom and catching a bus to the next town.
May 26
12:48 a.m., 1242 S. Main St- A general manager at Wendy’s reported another manager may have taken $500 from a register and put it in his backpack.
1:22 a.m., 500 block Hickman- A man reported his wife was drunk and assaulted him before driving off with their 3-year-old son unsecured.
May 27
12:41 a.m., 134 Menger Springs- A 39-year-old woman became combative with emergency room staff after admitting herself. Staff called 911 when the patient began “actively fighting staff.”
7:18 a.m., 400 block W. Bandera Rd.- A man believed to be homeless was walking in traffic.
10:43 a.m., 32900 block I-10 W.- A trailer was stolen from the manager of the Attic Pantry.
12:08 p.m., 1381 S. Main St.- Dispatchers overheard a police officer yelling at an 18-wheeler driver in the parking lot of a car wash because the driver crossed a double yellow line nearly causing a wreck.
7:26 p.m., 100 City Lake- Two women were left stranded in the middle of Boerne Lake when their floaties deflated. Two men in kayaks came to the rescue. 9:11 p.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A man said he was under investigation by a BPD detective and suspected there was a warrant for his arrest. So, he turned himself in.
10:28 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane- After a road rage incident, a man driving a Lexus pulled up next to another driver and said, “I know who you are, and I’m going to get you.”
May 28
12:53 a.m., 825 Johns Rd.- A loud explosion was heard near the apartment complex, and a resident reported losing power.
11:41 a.m., 19 Cascade Caverns- A resident of the apartment complex was concerned about non-leaseholders coming and going from a neighboring apartment. He said they weren’t causing any disturbances. He hung up on a dispatcher when they began asking questions, and he called to speak to a different officer because the other was “not listening to him.”
12:52 p.m., 100 City Lake- A minor was found in possession of tobacco at Boerne Lake.
3:15 p.m., 215 W. Bandera Rd.- A man was concerned about a 5-year-old boy dressed up as a cowboy selling “things out of a box” by himself.
6:59 p.m., 700 block N. Main St.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop.
9:59 p.m., 100 block Cool Rock- An evening grill session went awry when a man’s grill and wall caught fire. He got it under control with baking soda and dirt, but first responders made their way to his home anyway.
KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
May 25
12:33 a.m., 543 MM I-10 E.- A lost control and spun out on the interstate, but no injuries were reported.
11:20 a.m., 100 block Scenic Loop Rd.- A woman noted there were several vehicles parked across the street from her, and one truck had an open door even through a heavy rain.
12:31 p.m., 644 Fifth St.- A mother reported her 24-year-old son assaulted her during a dispute. He then left the trailer on foot, walking to his grandmother’s house where he was arrested.
6:04 p.m., 533 MM I-10 E.- Dispatchers overheard an argument between a man and a woman, with the man making threats to assault the woman. Then, it’s reported dispatchers heard what sounded like the man shoving the woman out of a moving vehicle on the interstate. The arguing proceeded after the man pulled over on the highway, but deputies couldn’t locate the disturbance.
9:46 p.m., 100 block FM 1376- A man reported a driver stopped their vehicle at a man’s property earlier in the day, stating their car wasn’t working. The man then suspected the driver parked the car on a neighbor’s property behind a tree to rest.
10:33 p.m., 537 MM I-10 E.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
May 26
12:03 a.m., 100 block Hope Rd.- A drunk man fell through a window but refused medical assistance. A woman giving him a ride home called it in after refusing to take him to the “bat cave.” At around 2 a.m., the same man called 911 reporting his old lady was crazy yet he told dispatchers his name was Joe Rogan when asked. A woman called shortly after with his actual name and suspected he was beating his girlfriend.
12:07 a.m., 200 block Alta- A woman reported her ex-boyfriend was stalking her because he kept driving around her location.
1:15 p.m., 1100 block Cordillera Trace- A woman was arrested for public intoxication.
4 p.m., 100 block Blue Ridge- A woman found four kittens abandoned under a staircase which were covered in fleas and smelled bad.
7:37 p.m., 2900 block FM 473- An individual was arrested after a woman reported her vehicle was rear ended.
May 27
2:28 a.m., Main Street and Blanco Road- An individual reported someone was fighting with them, punching them in the face causing them to bleed. An individual was tased and arrested. Then, a deputy requested a chair and spit mask for the subject before they tried kicking out the patrol vehicle window.
10:16 a.m., 100 block Anacaho- A man was sick of his neighbor stealing his dirt.
2:01 p.m., 300 River Rd.- A woman reported some ducks fell into a “storage grain” near Dodging Duck.
5:08 p.m., 100 block W. Fabra Lane- A man wanted a baby deer removed from his back porch.
8:13 p.m., 100 block Red Bird Lane- A 34-year-old woman was having trouble breathing, repeatedly telling a man she couldn’t breathe. It’s unclear what the outcome was, but a justice of the peace was called to the scene.
May 28
1:05 a.m., 20 block Ranger Creek Rd.- A resident reported a loud party taking place near her home, but deputies didn’t hear any noise from the street or notice any disturbances.
10:04 a.m., 531 MM I-10 E.- A woman was concerned about two children, who appeared to be between the ages of 12 and 14, riding in the bed of a truck going down the interstate.
12:28 p.m., 528 MM I-10 W.- A man was trying to flag vehicles down between the 528 and 529 mile markers on the interstate. He had run out of gas, but deputies noted he had a flag as a potential gang member.
6:59 p.m., 700 block N. Main St.- A man was arrested during a traffic stop.
