The concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, at Main Plaza in downtown Boerne.

The TubaMeisters is a quartet based in San Antonio that “will fit virtually any festival, party or special occasion,” information from the Boerne Village Band stated.

Although the group specializes in traditional music from Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Mexico and other countries, its playlist includes a number of pop, country and oldies songs. Vocals are featured in five languages.

“The TubaMeisters will definitely entertain you with their special brand of music and humor,” the information states.

The Boerne Village Band is celebrating its “160th plus 2” anniversary season this year. It was founded in 1860 and has been honored by the Boerne Historical Preservation Society, the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce, the city of Boerne, Kendall County and the state of Texas for “keeping alive the German music as part of our heritage.”

Following this concert, the band is scheduled to perform a patriotic concert on Tuesday, July 5, and will feature singer Terry Slezak. Its final concert of the season is set for July 19.
