Geneva improves to 9-0 in district

Geneva School of Boerne picked up another district win Friday when the Lady Eagles hosted Brentwood Christian.

Geneva won the contest, 62-31, and improved to 19-1 overall and 9-0 in district. The Lady Eagles are scheduled to be on the road Tuesday at Austin St. Michael’s.

In Friday’s game, Geneva doubled up the Lady Bears, 20-10, and then tallied 20 in the second, while holding Brentwood to 7 points for the 40-17 halftime lead.

In the third quarter, Geneva scored 18, while Brentwood only managed 4 points and the Eagles had extended the lead to 58-21.

In the fourth quarter, Brentwood scored 10 and Geneva managed 4 points to close it out.
