LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

May 15

1:35 a.m., 161 S. Main St.- Two teenagers were seen running form Botero Tapas and Wine Bar, elevators in The Richter building were left open.

10:04 a.m., 100 block Magnolia Circle- A woman reported her ex-partner kept contacting her even after she got a court order against him.

4:03 p.m., 100 City Lake- A mother was concerned her daughter might be at the Boerne Lake because nobody had heard from her since she got into an argument with her boyfriend while at the lake.

5:33 p.m., 100 City Lake- A woman reported seeing a man getting both verbally and physically abusive of a special needs child at the lake. She eventually saw the young boy leaving with who she assumed was his mother.

10:32 p.m., 37000 block I-10 E.- A man suspected four teenagers or individuals in their early 20s were “hotboxing” a U-Haul truck because he could smell marijuana.

May 16

6:47 a.m., Main and Herff roads- A bus driver reported to the BISD transportation headquarters after seeing a motorcycle strike a deer, suspecting the driver may have been injured. The bus driver reported they couldn’t stop because there were children on the bus.

7:38 a.m., 200 block Fawn Valley- A woman called 911 during an argument with her husband, saying he was puffing his chest. Dispatch could hear him yelling in the background of the call, and she said she would try to leave. Officers kept pinging her phone back to the same location, but she didn’t answer on call back. No further information was listed.

11:22 a.m., 825 Johns Rd.- A sexual assault was reported at the apartment complex which took place the night before.

11:38 a.m., 201 Charger Blvd.- A 16-year-old student went down in the nurse’s office, and staff couldn’t wake them up. The student was reported as alert and breathing just under 10 minutes later.

3:40 p.m., 1560 River Rd.- A woman sought help getting home with her son after her husband dropped them off at the location because he was upset after a school meeting.

4:14 p.m., 120 Crosspoint- A staff member at Heritage Place of Boerne reported five pain pills were missing during a medication count.

May 17

9:18 a.m., 410 N. Main St.- Officers helped kids cross Main Street to get to the library.

12:03 p.m., 33000 I-10 W.- A woman who had been arrested by officers earlier in the month lost the piece of paper provided to her, which was meant to act as a driver’s license, and she requested a new copy.

1:29 p.m., 1381 S. Main St.- A woman reported being hit by a red Kia in the parking lot. She said the other driver went into the store, and she was complaining of leg and back pain.

4:42 p.m., 400 block Oak Park Dr.- A woman called 911 to report fraud. She was running some scans on an old computer, and she was informed she’d visited some “questionable websites.”

7:41 p.m., 300 S. Plant Ave.- A man and woman were detained by officers after the apartment property manager suspected they were training to gain entry to a building.

May 18

12:57 a.m., 1000 block N. Main St.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.

10:41 a.m., 100 block Calk- A woman was waiting in the police station to report her computer being hacked.

12:41 p.m., 100 block Michelle- A mother reported her 15-year-old son was yelling in her face and punching walls in the house.

3:47 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane- A student at Boerne High School was found in possession of tobacco.

7:13 p.m., 1433 S. Main St. #103- The owner of Mike’s Vapor Shop of Boerne reported an employee was yelling and screaming at him before leaving the location in a Honda after trying to load a bike into their trunk.

9:01 p.m., 100 block Bentwood- A resident reported five vehicles were doing donuts in the area.

10:35 p.m., 200 block James St.- A father wanted to speak to an officer after his 5-eyar-old son got a sunburn while at church. He failed to answer when officers called back. Then, he let officers know a couple hours later he was ready to speak to an officer, but he didn’t answer when officers attempted to reach him six more times.

May 19

8:40 a.m., 1000 Diamond- A woman reported someone was looking in the windows of her home and taking pictures.

12:19 p.m., 448 S. Main St.- A man reported a maroon Dodge Ram with Colorado plates was parked illegally, saying the truck was parked partially in the roadway near Cibolo Creek Brewing Co. He said the driver of the truck swung their door open partially in the road and nearly caused an accident. He said the same truck was double parked at Smoothie King the day before.

12:44 p.m., 134 Menger Springs- A charge nurse at the Methodist Emergency Room in Boerne noted a patient, who was a member of the Mexican Mafia, had been released but refused to leave. He could be heard yelling by dispatchers.

3:48 p.m., 100 City Lake- A father was upset about a marron Toyota Highlander driving slowing through the area after the driver asked his 17-year-old son if he had beer.

8:17 p.m., 200 block Johns Rd.- A man was concerned about a fox that made its way into a storm drain near Boerne Middle School North. He suspected the fox might be rabid because it wasn’t afraid of him.

May 20

2:20 a.m., 31700 I-10 W.- A man was reported as being drunk and belligerent.

2:03 p.m., 10 block Old San Antonio Rd.- A man working with the city reported contractors working on the road weren’t properly flagging drivers, and he wanted officers to talk to them. Inspectors on site employed by the city were having a hard time removing the contractors who were working. Eventually, the subcontractors were escorted from the jobsite.

8:36 p.m., 600 block N. Main St.- A woman wanted to speak to officers about “rumors she had heard” about the release of an individual.

11:53 p.m., 210 N. Main St.- A mother was concerned when her 16-year-old daughter didn’t show up at her assigned time at the assigned meeting place. The daughter was located by officers and returned to her parents by 12:20 a.m.
